“Excellent last night meal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012 via mobile

Was recommend this restaurant by some local people when we told them we wanted somewhere special for the last night of our 2 weeks in eymet. And what a great choice it was, a wonderful dining room, great service (the head chef even takes your order!) and above all really good food.we opted for the 'grand set menu' and have to say it was faultless even down to the value for money.would definitely recommend this for not only a special treat but also for the set lunch.

“Words cannot describe this fantastic meal.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

My husband and I wanted a special meal and we couldn't have found a better spot. We went for the 49 euro menu which turned out to be the most incredible and fantastic value 5 courses of sheer heaven. An amuse bouche to get our taste buds dancing, fois gras and the most sublime truffle vinaigrette I have ever tasted, langoustine, pigeon, a selection of 5 perfect cheeses, exquisite petit fours which I mistakenly thought were our dessert, only to almost fall off my chair when out came a dessert platter (each) with a little of everything on the dessert menu, all accompanied by perfect wines and a cleansing little espresso to send us on our way. All this experienced in a wonderful courtyard, served by attentive staff, with the chef checking up on us ever now and then. Thank you for a very special evening.

“Very good restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

There is no doubt that this is a very good restaurant. There is not an enormous choice on the list, but that need not necessarily be a bad thing.
Not cheap, but worth it. As is usually the case in France, if you stick to local wines, you definitely get value for money.
One small drawback: the chef is definitely not used to catering for children - he seems to think that smaller portions of grown up food will to the trick, but sadly, that is not the case. Still, there is a lot of humour and good will, and that makes up for a lot.

“Lunch is excellent value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

Excellent value for money. Lovely quiet setting behind large gates in a secluded court yard. The lunch menu was varied and included vegetarian options.
