We stayed at the Mon Repos over the Greek Easter weekend. We had a seaview room, which was spacious had a bath with shower over, though it could have done with a curtain or shower screen. the rooms had been updated it that light grey colour thats very in now, very good airconditioning in the room.
We got a very good deal half board, breakfast and dinner were both good with lots of choice, salads and deserts were particularly good. We did eat out in Corfu town one night but wished we hadn't bothered the food was better at the hotel, maybe we made a bad choice of where to eat.
The hotel is being updated but we didn't notice any noise, and considering we were there for 5 nights over Easter there wasn't that much traffic noise, none that disturbed me anyway, and I like quiet.
The front of the hotel they had new chairs and tables outside, for breakfast dinner and just for drinks etc, they looked very elegant and stylish. The staff were very helpful in giving us cups and saucers and wine glasses for our room, but they don't provide kettles you have to take your own. Kostas is the person to ask if you need anything while at dinner,or breakfast. Enjoyed Corfu town it is lovely its about a 20 minutes walk from the hotel, saw some of the Easter celebrations, an experience, but very busy on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind the walk into Corfu town.
