“It's all true. This hotel continues to be a gem”

The central location, decor, staff, service and wonderful breakfasts make Bella Venezia a stand out in the old town of Corfu. Great ambience, my friends and I spent 6 nights here in April. The friendly staff are so helpful, whether with maps or suggestions about how to get to places or helping with iPads. The place exudes charm. Although sombre looking, the ladies who prepare breakfast are really proud of their talents and the bacon and eggs are the best we've ever tasted. Jams made by the PETA ladies from the mainland are simply delicious. Stavros1 and 2 and Konstantina are so personable and work hard to help all of the guests. While we were here guests who come yearly arrived and were greeted like long lost cousins. Definitely has a family feel. The hotel has a long interesting history and the fact that it continues to attract great reviews after such a long time in
operation attests to its continuing high standards.
Is there a negative? Very small shower space but you get over that quickly and enjoy all the other facilities the hotel has to offer.

Room Tip: All rooms are good. Outlook over a courtyard covered in wisteria is charming.

Definitely one of the best hotels we have stopped in. The staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and stylish. Breakfast is great and we can recommend the eggs bar - cooked as you like them but also the HAND MADE MANDARIN MARMALADE with toast was a favourite. Nothing is too much trouble and what a great place to come back to after a day or evening out. You can have a drink in the bar or garden in very quiet and pleasant surroundings. Corfu Town is bustling and can be crowded - the hotel is a haven of calm and efficiency. Fully recommended without any doubt

Room Tip: Any first floor room is fine. Rear rooms face the wisteria covered dining area

A hotel located close to the town's center with venezian style. Trying to find it is not an easy driving experience, especialy in the narrow streets of the town. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and room was realy clean and confordable. Easter celebrations worth a visit on april.

Room Tip: west side is more quiet

This magnificent place is now in my top 3 hotels I've ever stayed at, for the following reasons:

- The history. This is an 18th century building that has been rebuilt in 2006. It has an elegant charm that makes you want to sink into the sofas in the lounge and have a cold Mimosa in the afternoon.

- The staff. They really are there to serve in the most cordial and elegant way.

- The beds. I've never had a sleep like that in Europe.

- The eggs bar. Breakfast is served in the garden, either in the gazebo or the actual flower filled garden. It was the best breakfast in terms of freshness, and yes they have an egg corner. I found out later they are part of the 'Greek Breakfast Initiative'.

- The location. Basically in the center but on a fairly quiet street. And in Corfu!

Every hotel I will ever stay at from now on will automatically get compared to this one.

the Bella Venezia Hotel in Corfu Town, Corfu, enhanced the magic of our Corfu visit. A 5 minute walk to the city square, this Venetian style hotel with its wisteria-canopied garden will always be one of the highlights of our Corfu visit. Greeted by reception with welcome drinks on our arrival, we also found complimentary bottles of wine and water in the room fridge. The beds were comfy, with sparkling white duvets. Rooms were immaculate and our toiletries refreshed every day. The daily, breakfast provided a broad range of regular food items and treats, like freshly squeezed orange juice, made to order omelette and the best yogurt ever. But all of these wonderful perks pale compared to the warm, helpful and super friendly staff. A goodbye hug from the receptionist confirmed our thoughts that we really had hit upon a terrific hotel. We hope to go back some day soon.

Room Tip: A room with a balcony, facing the garden for a view.

My wife and I visited Corfu for the Orthodox Easter celebrations, being one week later than ours. Right from the start, we were made very welcome and the staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel is within a few minutes walk from Old Corfu Town with all its restaurants and shops and the staff were again helpful in advising about times and places for the Easter celebrations. We thought the room on the ground floor was a little small but this is an old building which has other charms that more than made up for this. Breakfast is served in a large chalet-type building within the garden area and is more than adequate, as is the lounge and bar in the main building. All the staff treated us better than family, in that they could not do enough for us but did not feel they had to entertain us. Thank you all for your hospitality with a special word for the near famous Spiros who went that extra mile to make us feel at home.
