As our first stop of the Greek islands, we were not disappointed with the budget accomodation (well 90 Euro in peak season) we found.

Situtaed on a small hill just over looking Mykonos town, we felt this was one of the better pensions we stayed at. Our room was small but thats all you need as you're never in the room. There was air conditioning and a small fridge. Our balcony doors opened to the back to over look the swimming pool which was excellent.

Our hosts were great and although breakfast finished at 12pm, they were always happy to make breakfast when we got up (B/fast is an additional cost).

The view was amazing and we were only approx a 5-10min walk to the port, a 5-10 min walk to Mykonos town towards the waterfront and maybe a 10-15 min walk to the main shopping area of Mykonos (maybe quicker if you know which streets to walk through). The walk back can take twice as long as it is uphill all the way. However, if you hire a scooter then this is irrevlevant.

We were picked up from the airport and also dropped off to the port to catch our ferry to the next island.

We had a great time and would certainly stay here again. Its far enough too be away from the noise of Mykonos town but close enough to walk down.

Mykonos itself is a fabulous island and tourists should not think its only a party island. You can party, shop, relax, - this island offers it all. Be aware though, shopping can be pricey as there are only designer and high end shops - but fabulous clothes!!
