“We totally cannot wait to go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

A good hotel crowns your vacation, and Omiros Hotel does it the best in Mykonos. From the very first moment we made our reservation, Yiannis, the owner and manager, was the most attentive and professional to make us feel comfortable and safe. The rooms we stayed were of good size, clean and had privacy – truly bargain at the quoted rates. We never complained of weak water pressure, which is often an issue at small hotels. It was round-the-clock safe to walk to and from the town center, which sits only five minutes away. Yiannis always provided us with the best tips on beaches, shopping and restaurants that guided us the best in a tourist jungle. There was also parking available outside the hotel entrance, which made our daily trips extra convenient. Coming from the beach and sipping our drinks at the gorgeous terrace, overlooking the spectacular view of the Mykonos bay at sunset was absolutely priceless. We cannot wait to go back, and just pray that there would be rooms available given the excellent feedback.

The heart and soul of Omiros are Yiannis and his family. They are so caring and welcoming--from the first minute I stepped foot on the patio, I was greeted by 4 warm, smiling faces, given something to drink and installed in a soft, comfortable chair looking out onto the ocean. Instant relaxation. When I woke up, I was treated to a delicious home-cooked meal. The meal was accompanied by stimulating conversation with Yiannis and his wife Myrto who are incredibly knowledgeable about Mykonos (of course), and also have wonderful insights on topics from art to physics. When I made it back to my room, the view from outside of my window was so perfect it looked like a painting. The décor is simple but clean and elegant. I would give my highest recommendation to Hotel Omiros and I can’t wait to go back.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Omiros Hotel in Mykonos. Yiannis and his beautiful family made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is located atop a hill with the most spectacular views of the sea and town. It is the best place to view sunsets and just relax. We cannot thank Yiannis and family enough for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Our stay at Omiros Hotel was the highlight of our Greek Island vacation- thank you Yiannis!

The reviews have said it all. Yiannis is the perfect host, telling about restaurants and sights. You become part of the family. Mama makes delicious breakfast bread. The view of Mykonos town and bay is spectacular. We spent a day going to Delos on his recommendation. Room is small, but adequate. Who spends time in the room with such a view!

This hotel has an amazing sunset from outside the room, which overlooks the ocean. You feel like you are actually staying on an island surrounded by water. With the white and blue hotel, the "yaya" making the breakfast, you actually feel like you have a greek family, which too boot speak wonderful english. You are a FIVE minute walk from town which is downhill. If you dont wanna walk up the hill its 3 euro to the top. Omiros has been an amazing experience and i will come back again!

Yiannis has given us the warmest welcome when we arrive Mykonos thought weather was very cool. The room itself was not fancy but it's a good and clean place to stay already. And more important, it's the nice view from the balcony with pretty sunset! Also, yiannis and even each of his family attends to your every need and they offer help on everything. Very impressed!

Both my husband and I love the breakfast as well though it's juz some simple bread and cake. But it's the best bread we had in Greece!!!

Hotel omiros really worthy to stay!!!

Yannis, the owner, is a great host! When we first arrived we got served shots and then he explained how we could get to town and advised us on good places to see/eat. He was very friendly and even helped us when we got into a bit of a sticky situation! The view from the balconies is amazing, most of the rooms have balconies!! The rooms are clean and have nice showers with hot water. They are not very big, but you can fit perfectly in them. I definitely recommend this hotel!! It is a bit uphill from the main part of town, but only like 6 minutes, and exercise is good for you anyways :)

Room Tip: Balcony rooms are the best!
