“Honeymoon Bliss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

Myself and my husband had our 10 day honeymoon at the Vencia Hotel at the end of September and we were blown away by the whole experience. We wanted a lot of relaxation time and this holiday certainly provided that. The hotel is location right above the town and only a few mins walk into Mykonos, where there are loads of nice bars and restaurants. We had the superior sea view suite which has a fab view and was immaculately clean. In addition the staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. I am surprised to read about the transfer charge as that was a free service that we received whilst there. We would not hestitate to visit again.

We stayed there for two days. The hotel was lovely and the service was good however we need to pay for the pick up service which is quite pricey. (while other hotels offer free service) The hotel is located in the hill so we need to walk up and down to town center but the view is worth it!

Not exactly in the town and not what we were expecting . The location is not good at all there is a hill to climb after your walk in the town . The hotel rooms are cute if you have one with a sea view the others have a view of the street . And last but not least the hotel overcharges the transfers that does with their minibus..

Dear guests,

I would like to thank you for writing your comments about our hotel and for the feedback provided through them.
Please kindly note that our hotel is situated very close to Mykonos town, about 6 minutes walking distance through a shortcut. It is true that our hotel is located on a small hill and for this reason coming back to the hotel on foot may take 10 minutes. It is due to this privileged location that our guests can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Aegean Sea, Mykonos town and the sunset being at the same time so close to the city center and the main attractions.
Our rooms have either sea, garden or hotel views. Only one room faces the street. So your statement that only the sea view rooms are cute and the rest have a view of the street is not at all true!
Regarding your comment about the transportation charges, please kindly note that we provide to our guests if they wish round trip transfer upon arrival and departure. The cost of the transfer is 5 euro per person which is very reasonable for a customized service as it is arranged separately for each guest according to the arrival and departure details. So the guests do not have to waste time of their holidays arranging their transportation on their own or to have stress being at the port/airport the correct time. All these details are arranged by our staff at the reception desk. Your comment that our hotel overcharges the transfers seems misleading.
With kind regards
Stella Michael

A beautiful hotel with awesome views. Incredible infinity pool - one-of-a-kind in Greece. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The food was very good too - we opted to eat at the hotel on a few nights, and still had the chance to explore Mykonos Town, which was only a 5-10 min walk down a series of steps.
I will consider returning and staying here again!

Room Tip: Make sure to book sea view room.

My husband and I stayed at Vencia for 5 nights in September for our honeymoon. It was the most perfect trip! The room was stunning and a mix of traditional Greek design with modern touches. We had the sea view and our balcony had a perfect view of both the infinity pool and the incredible sunset! The staff was unbelievably friendly and were there to assist you with everything you could need. We also reserved the sunset table for our first evening there and it was the perfect location away from the other guests to enjoy a romantic dinner watching the sunset. As if the location wasn't already worth it, the meal was excellent! Traditional Greek cuisine cooked perfectly! The location of this hotel was also perfect for a short walk into the main town. It's away from the main roads and quiet all day and night but also an easy walk to the main city center. Overall I'd recommend Vencia to everyone for a romantic vacation with great friendly staff!

We visited Mykonos a week ago(Mid October) and loved the island. The hotel however was just okay. They did the right thing when we first arrived by orientating us and such but we very quickly realized they lack finesse...we had to carry our own bags to our room(we were thinking...are you kidding me!), but that's not it, very few rooms have a "real" view of the sea. We booked a sea view room and had a balcony from which if you struggled you could see water. The room itself is okay, tv for the price you pay is a disaster(18 inches, propped up on a stand), if you can see the tv you have just certified yourself 20-20 vision, wow! congrats!!

In any case, the place was decent, we could have better and this place deserves an average.

My fiance and I ended our 2 week honeymoon with Mykonos. We started in Athens made our way to Santorini and finished at this perfect hotel stay in Mykonos. We took the time to research our options and noticed that this hotel had many great reviews.

The staff is very kind and caring. They exceeded all our our expectations and needs.

The restaurant at this hotel is out of this world amazing!!! Each item that we ordered was undoubtedly delicious!!! We even received a complimentary dessert which was equally out of this world amazing!!!

We had a hotel room with a garden view. The room met our needs.

The pool area has the most breath taking views. The sunset is amazing and the cabanas are fun to relax in.

The BEST PART of the pool area is the skills set of the pool side bartender named Dimitir!!!! You MUST TRY two of his specialties that are not on the regular menu. They are drink number "13" and a drink that he calls "The Secret". If you enjoy sipping tastey cocktails you will literally fall in love with his amazing cocktail drinks. He takes his time to add and mix each ingredient to perfection. My husband and I loved all of his drink creations. Even his basic mojito has a special kick!!!

Unfortunately, we caught Dimitir on his very last night of working for the season. However, we were still happy that we were able to taste his yummy creations.

We are back home now and to this day we still talk about how amazing Dimitir's drinks are.

Overall our experience at this hotel was great and memorable. We hope to return again in the near future.
