I booked this hotel during the high season when options where low and prices were high. When we arrived, the room was marginal. There was no safe for my camera, money... and the lock on the door could have been picked with a paper clip. The A/C did not work well. The room was old. We immediately went to the front desk to tell her we wanted to cancel but was charged the first night. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. We ended up going to one of the south beach hotels (Hotel Zypherous) and had a great time.

3 of us arrived in August 2006 after being promised a room with a view. We had a small room down the bottom where the scooters are parked. The room was OK. Simple but everything you touch was falling apart. It is a budget hotel, but for the price I expected a little more. Our electricity kept cutting out at least twice a day. Everytime the excuse was different. I found the pool to be great. Not too big but perfect for a quick dip. The service from the young girl that worked there was very good. There was an old lady who was working there who was rude and arrogant. The only reason I would never go back is because of this old lady. She is known to rip off non-greek speaking tourists. 10 euro for a coffee!

The safety standards of the rooms and pool i dont think comply with any european standards, so dont take little kids there. The breakfast is awful so we never ate it.

If you want cheap accommodation go there. Look around and pay 10-20 euro extra a night and you can get so much better. The worst thing: the walk back up the hill. Its only 300m from town but you need to be fit or you wont manage.

When we first arrived they tried to put us into a very small double that was in pretty bad shape and so we asked to see if they had another double with a view. We asked very nicely and even though they kept claiming the room we had was a very nice room we said we just wanted to see what else they had and we're glad we did because the other room was much bigger and actually had a kitchen and the veranda was also much nicer than the first one. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but the key to this place is the location. The view is fantastic and you're close enough to walk into town and far away enough from all the noise. The pool is tiny but comes in handy if you just want to cool off. Breakfast was pretty awful. After the first time we skipped it entirely. Also, they do have maid serice but don't expect it to be sparkling clean when they finish. Compared to the pricier places in town, this was a pretty good deal. I would stay there again if I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money. There's also a fabulous bar next door called Oniro at a pricier hotel that has the best view of Myknonos.

I found the hotel overpriced and was definately not what I expected. It is considered an OK hotel amongst the locals but the service was a bit dissapointing.
Firstly the swimming pool is medium to small and not very clean. The room I was given had no view, the hangers for the towels in the bathroom were broken and bed knobs were easily removed if you happen to touch them and a rusty surface was revealed underneath (dangerous if you have kids running around!)
When I asked for a coffee in the morning I was initially refused to be given one 'since this hour we are very busy' but after re-consideration of the receptionist I was finally given one. It is not very close to the city centre (more than 300 meters- as stated). As I looked around the hotel, it has very nice rooms -with view or its own balcony. Make sure that you will be given one of those. I also requested for a double bed and I was given a room with 2 beds instead.
The only ray of sunshine was a young receptionist that was very helpful. She made arrangements so I can get to the port on time.
Overal - choose a good room OR go to another hotel.
