“Loved Hotel Poseidon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

Great hotel. Just a short stroll to center of town. Incredible breakfast with fresh squeezed OJ. Biggest spread I have seen in all of Europe! Staff was great especially Stravroulus. Thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine!! We stayed in a deluxe room which was great and then upgraded our last night to a beautiful suite which was well worth the little bit of extra money it cost. I love mykonos and this is my sixth time there. This hotel has been my favorite in town so far. You will not be disappointed

The Poseidon hotel is in a perfect location right outside the city of Mykonos. It has remodeled rooms that are very comfortable, a delightful pool area, magnificent views and a staff to complement the whole experience. The breakfast is the best we had, fresh OJ!!

I stayed at the Poseidon for 3 nights. My favorite stay of a 15 night holiday around Greece. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated nicely. I had a 2nd floor deluxe room and the view was outstanding. The included breakfast had many choices to eat, including salmon, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, and many types of bread.

we stayed here 7 years ago, and it is still wonderful. It has been updated, and is very smart. This time it was busier,we hadn't booked ahead,so we had to change rooms in order to have 3 nights. The receptionist was very helpful, and the hotel is very efficiently run. The views are great, the beds comfortable, the breakfast provided a superior choice. It is in a quiet spot but very near the centre. We thought it was wonderful value for money, especially on Mykonos which can be more expensive than other islands. The swimming pool was great too.I thoroughly recommend this hotel- but book ahead!

Poseidon Hotel is located very close to the Mykonos Town area and at a five minutes walk to the bus stop of Fabrika in southern part of the town. The spacious rooms are very tastefully done in shades of aqua and sea green with little detailing as side lamp with cats on it, my own music system in the party town of Mykonos, personal jacuzzi and views of the sea and the sunsets! I got this hotel on a super deal with Expeida at a steal of €40 a night for such a luxury, breakfast included! The hotel is located at some distance from the new port of Mykonos where most ferries stop these days, so I had to take a taxi to hotel setting back €8 located in the main town... later I got to know hotel could have arranged for a free pick up on a prior request. So its always good to check with hotel if these things can be arranged at no extra cost.

We Had Booked a Suite Room in this Hotel and it was a very good room with excellent views towards the main market and the wind mills. Our Balcony also had a very beautiful view of the sunsets next to to windmills. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful.

The Main Bus Stop of Mykonos was 5 minutes walk from hotel.

The Breakfast was Good, with nice choice.

We were also provided a complimentary pick up and drop. This process was efficiently handled.

All in all a very good hotel. I wouldn't mind staying here agian.

I stayed here with 2 other ladies and we all had our own single bed. There was still lots of room for our suitcases. The room was super clean and so cute. I loved it!! We had the most amazing view, right out to the ocean and we could also see the windmills behind another hotel. We had our own balcony with a table and chairs to watch the sunset as we drank wine. I was impressed with the breakfast, everything you could want and it was included in our room rate. This is where I fell in love with yoghurt and honey... It was a fantastic location, quiet but very close to the shopping and restaurants. The pool area is quite fantastic as well, with the daybeds and a hammock to swing your troubles away. I would for sure stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
