The holiday that I purchased for me and my parents was quite cheap so I wasn't expecting a lot in the first place. The people at the reception didn't speak good English so it was quite a challenge to talk to some of them. All staff was very polite and friendly. The seating area outside was very windy (when there is no sun, it was cold and not nice to sit there in the wind). Nice swimming pool. I am not sure if it was heated or not, but it was ok to swim in it :). The room was fine, nothing fancy, a bit strange that there was no cups and plates etc. as there was a cooker. The tv was very old, the bed sheets a bit strange, probable like 100 years ago :D. Early in the morning it was quite noisy, probably the delivery cars and bins being emptied. The food was absolutely fine for the price paid. There was a good choice every day. The main negative thing that really put me off was when I asked how much is the taxi to the airport. I would like to warn all the people who stay at that hotel and would like to take a taxi to the airport. The woman at the reception told me that the taxi is 20 euros and I have to pay at the hotel. The taxi will be there in 5 min. She then gave me the receipt for it to give to the driver. When we got into the taxi, the driver put the taximeter on, which I was surprised about. In the end we had to pay an extra 4 euros to the driver as the taximeter showed 24 euros. I was really angry as I was clearly explained that it is 20 euros to the airport. The driver's English was horrible so there was no point to argue with him and He had our bags. We paid and left. This is really the only big negative thing that I had there. Everything else was all fun (even the bin machines in the morning).

I have now been to this hotel on nine occasions and we have had our ups and downs.
It will give you every thing you need to have a great holiday in the area, if your expectations are not five star luxury for four star value.
The staff here are all long serving and very, very helpful. If your not that screaming arrogant know it all. Any thing that is in their power to do or help you with they will do for you.
The rooms are still in my opinion great value for money, how many other hotels give you one bedroom apartments as standard. Check out the prices other hotels charge you for putting the word suite on the description.
The food is plentiful, its fresh and its hot with a very good choice. It can be frustrating when its busy, but what is the rush your on holiday.
The bars cater for all tastes and there is now a very small supplement for premium brands if that's your taste.
Cleanliness is top notch, every day every where, its clean.
This hotel over the years is evolving with the modern day holiday maker and is making a very good job of it.
Great value

Room Tip: ask for high floor, pool view

OMG where do I start food is slop tasteless and repetitive also not clearly marked. The Breakfast was actually the worst food I've ever put into my mouth, the meat is watered down only as much as the spirits in the bar. The beds are similar to a prison and the staff are rude & unhelpful

The main seating area feels like you're sat in a block of rough council flats & the beer is awful.

Full of drunken couples who are making the most of all inclusive beer. Honestly the rooms are small and smelly with terrible twin beds that move with you in the night. We didn't sleep a wink. The mattresses are badly stained & full of holes.

You don't receive what you pay for & they try to rip you off the bacon at breakfast is like thin burnt spam that Tastes like sewage & the sausages stink of damp

I wouldn't let a rat stay here and 4 stars ? not worthy of a 1 star more like a homeless centre or refuge. The place is Also shaded round the bar during the day & FULL of flies. We also found out that there are nudists allowed to run riot all over the roof (this is confirmed on this site & on their website)

Absolute gutter stay away

just got back from isla bonita it is in desperate need of an up grade.the staff are very friendly and work very hard but theres not enough of them in the dinning room.we was in room 140b it was very noisey at 2 and 4 every morn with bins being emptied and people that was working shouting and laughing which is no laughing matter when your trying to get to sleep. the food was ok a lot of pork but was always something else you could have we certainly didn't go hungry. the bbq was realy good its a 3 coarse meal and was plenty of it.the animation team work very hard and it would fall short without them. I wont be going back there after staying in a proper 4 star hotel there 2years ago but you don't now till you try it

Room Tip: try to avoid the b block if you want some sleep

Looking at the reviews I was not looking forward to going. When we got there I was presently surprised. We stayed for 11 days. The hotel was big clean and welcoming. The rooms were a great size. Lounge little kitchen bedroom and en suite. Our room was dated but absolutely fine everything you needed. The bathroom needed some tlc but you could still do what you needed to. Balcony was big and very safe for children. We were on the third floor, great views. The hotel is also next to a supermarket which was an added bonus. The beach wasnt far either way. The bar was also busy but why complain you only waited a few minutes. The food was great wide selection. You also see them cooking all meats and eggs never seen this before so it was great!!! Just can't complain for the price you pay. All staff work such long hours and are great. All pools are very clean and warm also. We would definitely come back!!!
To people complaining. If you want four star then pay for it you must know your not going to get that with the price!!!
