Wanted a weekend away from city life and found this to be the perfect place. Nick and Helen were very welcoming, the fire in the guests sitting room was alight, with a fresh pot of tea ready for us on arrival. The rooms were immaculate and spacious, with lovely views of the Cheshire countryside.
Breaksast was divine, conversation flowed freely with teh hosts and other guests. Just a stones throw away from Chester city centre and the fantastic Zoo. Found a great pub in a nearby village ( The Wheatsheaf ) which served hearty, homemade food.
We had a great time, would definitly recommend this beautiful location.
