This is a very friendly, family oriented, typically Tyrolean restaurant. Everyone was welcoming and nice to us even though we speak hardly any German and they speak hardly any English (our fault, not theirs). The food is very reasonably priced and good of its kind: I had venison goulash and it was delicious and came with the most fantastic light spaetzle. However, if your taste is not for the rich heavy Tyrolean food you'll be hard pushed to find an alternative. Everyone there drinks beer: we ordered a glass of wine each and I expect it came from a box - drinkable but no more.
Also the place is full of smoke as outside cities most places we visited seem to ignore EU non-smoking directives. But we had a nice meal all the same.
