“Nice place to go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

This is a good place to go for lunch - either in the cafe within the park grounds or in the garden centre. Lovely walk and an old castle. Also a good wee theatre with bar etc.

“We liked this park but so much poo”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Lorna and I needed to fill a couple of hours last Saturday before picking up Debs & Cal and heading up to Skye and I recalled this park also had a cafe. Actually the cafe (Charlie's) was great but Trip Advisor doesn't list it which is a pain. Then we went for a long walk which was also really good fun apart from the piles of dog turd in little plastic bags dumped next to the paths by lazy visitors.

“a big enough place to wander about in and enjoy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Anyone who likes walking about with or without particular purpose would enjoy here. There is a variety of things to see- castles, small lochs, moors, views, trees, nature, wee bar, craft shops garden centre and couple of cafes to finish off with cuppa or ice cream depending on weather. There is history here and space to wander, wee ones would like the playground space, though it gets a bit busy at kiddie time.... but there are other less structured stuff that all ages can do....running/sauntering about....

“The Great Outdoors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

This park is on the outskirts of Glasgow and a great place to go as a family or on your own. There are craft shops along with a cafe/restaurant and a garden centre so things to do if the weather is not on your side!

“Mr boom who comes from the moon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Great show last Saturday at the MUGDOCK theatre with the g/children.Wonderful wee theatre and an excellent performance by Mr boom. From what I could see the children of all ages - (1 -70+ ) - thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Nice to release the inner child. This is only my second visit to the theatre. The first time to enjoy a blues band whose name I forget. I recommend the theatre and the park. Mr Boom is a "must see" experience for young children - excellent way with him.
