“Good Hotel with a Fantastic view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

All I can do is repeat what has already been said, agreat location for a hotel with stunning views. Just outside Arenal and C'an Pastilla so not too rowdy at night.
We had a studio on the 11th floor which was ample for the two of us, but I think would be a bit tight for three. Hotel was spotless and because we paid for superior accommodation we had the room cleaned every day, not alternate days, also bath robes, not needed and a toaster, and daily spa which we didnt use either.
The view from the balcony is absolutely mind blowing, so nice, that we ate on our balcony every night just watching the boats sail into Palma. This is a German resort, in fact I dont think we heard an English voice the whole week, but this wasn't a problem, a noisy German is no different to a noisy Englishman.
The pool isn't really big enough for the size of the hotel, and even though it was not allowed to reserve the few sun beds and parasols around the pool, the towels laid on them were ignored by the hotel staff, so most people went to the beach just across the road.
Only down side was the lack of air conditioning in the apartments and getting bitten at night by the mossies, which when we complained about the answer was a shrug of the shoulders.
Overall an excellent holiday in a good hotel for a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Room number 17 on all the floors is at the end of the building so it is quieter than the others and...

Great location (not too noisy, close to the boulevard) and service. We asked for an ocean view and woke up by the sounds of the ocean every morning.

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view.

Just returned from a 7 night stay with my family. Arrived late at night so not sure what to expect, but we where delighted got a room on 8th floor with fabulous view,2 balconies and loads of space in a massive room for 4. Facilities in the room and hotel where excellent just what was needed for a S/C holiday. The whole hotel, rooms etc where spotlessly clean so cannot fault the staff where polite and helpful also. Everything is in walking distance restaurants, bars etc. If you go out the hotel main door(not the beach side) onto street walk to end of shops on the corner you will get Eroski supermarket cheaper than the spars around!!. All in all cannot fault the place 5-10 mins from airport 15 euros in a taxi. Lots to see and do around beaches( which was immaculate),aquariums etc. Would go back in a heartbeat and would highly recommend to families. Very quiet at night just the sound of the waves.

We stayed for 4 days at the Pil Lari Playa, right on the beach, central to all the amenities in the resort. We had a one bedroom apartment and there were 2 adults & 2 kids in our party, there was ample room for the 4 of us. Nice italian restaurant in the hotel and staff were always pleasant. This resort is only 5 - 10 mins from the airport and cost us 7 euro in a taxi although there was bus stop right outside the hotel. Would return to this hotel but perhaps a little later in the season as the pool was very cold at this time of year.

Room Tip: Corner rooms have 2 balconies.

I regularly visit Mallorca and preferably stay in can pastilla as it is close to el arenal where there are great food and party venues but a little quieter. The pil-lari playa apartments are right next to the beach and rooms have a fridge and cooker. Behind the hotel is a great supermarket for food and a bus stop bringing you to Palma and the airport. I got the best price for the hotel booking through lowcostholidays.com and one thing I like in particular about the site is the fact that you can search hotels by map. This way you can make sure that for example you are close to the beach.

We found the apartments to be excellent value. We stayed there for a week commencing on April 13th 2012.We were on the sixth floor with a grand view of the bay and nearby resort. There was a thunderstorm on one particular night and views as the the lightning bounced across the farthest horizon was breathtaking.
The hotel in it's entirety was spotlessly clean and the staff,in particular the young barman, were extremely attentive. The lifts are a little slow and I would say during a busy Summer period could cause problems
It was good to see that as well as the German and Spanish television stations BBC 1 and 2 and ITV 1 and 2 wre also available.Whilst one is not going to spend the holiday watching tv it did the opportunity to catch up on news etc.,if desired.
The public transport system is first class and the number 25 or 15 buses stop just outside the hotel and I would recommend the purchase of a ten-euro card which will give ten trips to Palma Centre .These tickets can be bought at any of the "Tobac" shops.
In conclusion ,I would suggest it would be difficult to get better value for money anyplace else.

We have just returned from a lovely break at these apartments, having been lucky enough to pay only £6 a night each for myself and my two daughters. The best thing about this place is the amazing view. We could see the whole of the Bay of Palma from our room on the 11th floor.
The ground floor of the building was very smart, with a large lounge area with free wifi. At first sight our apartment looked lovely too, until we realised how little it actually contained. By way of facilities it had plates, cups, glasses, a few pots and pans and that was it.
There was no kettle, chopping knives, serving spoons, or any other kitchen equipment, making proper self catering very difficult. Much worse was the fact that there was no heating and at night it was absolutely freezing, making it very difficult to sleep.
The walls were very thin too, as we discovered when we were woken by the couple next door during the night having a rather nasty fight. I was quite glad that it was all in German.
This hotel was definitely worth the £94 we paid overall, but the lack of basic equipment and heating would lead me to recommend it only for a summer holiday.

Room Tip: View are best from the higher floors.
