Just got back from the Floresta apartments after staying during the school half term week, I have two boys aged 8 and 6 and they loved it.
I booked this at the last minute, all inclusive and was pleasantly surpised.
Food was good, full English breakfast offered every morning, although the bacon and sauages and are your normal Spanish streaky and German frankfurter type.
There were different options for lunch and dinner every day. This varied from pork chops, small steaks, bacon joints, turkey and the normal veg and pasta options.
My kids are very fussy so if they do not like the food on offer you have the option of great restaurants near buy or Macdonalds as a last resort just around the corner!
Kids obviously loved the ice cream, 6 different flavours every day and from the restaurant during meal times and pool bar from 16:00-17:00.
The main pool is saltwater which put my youngest off but with the older one it didn't make any difference.
The rooms are very clean and towells and bedding are changed every other day.
The apartments are also in a great location, just a 2 minutes walk to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants close by, there are also a couple of supermarkets opposite.
It's also lovely to get up at 09:00 and still have a great choice in sunbeds, none of this getting up early to put the towels out!
I was also surpised at how cheap the resort in general was, normally you associate the Euro as being expensive, but pints were from €2 and steaks on offer in some restuarants again from 7€, wine from 6€ a bottle.
Tips before you book,
Don't book airport transfers, taxi's are only 12€ each way, we made the mistake of paying £40 and waiting for others on a coach at the airport
Some apartments have 2 bedrooms, book the one room through the travel agent , then ring the apartments direct and upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment for an extra 20€ per night. Some travel companies were charging upto £250 extra for an extra room for the week.
There is a car rental place opposite the hotel, they charge €35 euro for 1 day or €40 for 2 days. Give's you a chance to visit the Volcano and Water Park.
Overall a very good cheap half term break, fabulous quite location.
