“Clean Resonable Place to Sleep...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2009

Went here with my sister cousins other and aunt.. It was lovely although it was the worst june whether wise in over 18 years we had a ball! Rosamar was clean and tidy the pool was not the biggest but we really availed of it! The food at the bar which was down a serious flight of steps was nice but wouldnt make you want to stay there all the time! Staff were friendly. Everything was clean and well kept and there was a cosy atmosphere almost like a community.. What let this place down was the lack of entertainment.. bit boring.. But it was a stones throw from the main strip of Puerto Del Carmen but still wasnt mad! Whether its relaxing or partying i would recommend this apartment complex

My wife and I recently went to Lanzarote to recover from a spell of ill health. We stayed in the Rosamar Apts., after seeing it had gotten good revues on tripadvisor. The reception staff couldn't have been more accommodating after hearing of my ill health. The rooms were of good size and really well kept. Of no fault of the complex, the room adjoining ours was occupied by "ladettes", and the noise level from their room was very disturbing. I reported this to the staff, who moved me immediately to a quieter room. The rooms themselves were kept very well and well appointed. They were cleaned regularly and the cleaning staff were really friendly. The apt. had a lovely pool with a snack/drinks bar adjacent to it. The location was very handy. It was only a short walk to the sea front(Casino). Overall, the staff were lovely and friendly and the apartments themselves were clean and tidy. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

Just back from a 1 week stay at the Rosamar. 3 mid-20's girls - we were probably the youngest people staying here, mostly full of families but thats Lanzarote as a whole really. The apartments were basic and clean. The cleaners dressed our beds and cleaned the apt every day which was really nice. The pool area has plenty of spare beds for sunbathing which was good but loads of kids around the pool made it quite noisy - we headed to the beach after the 2nd day! The food in the snack bar is very greasey, only eat there if having a lazy day. The apartments are located only a 3 min walk from "the strip" and costs about 4euro for a taxi to the old town so it was really handy no matter what you felt like doing, eating, drinking, banana-boating!

We arrived back late enough most nights where a security guard made sure we stayed quiet :) This is probably reassuring for families so they know they will get a quiet nights sleep. We got a note through our door on the 3rd night telling us to keep quiet (no singing while drunk) :D which we did for the rest of the week but i wouldn't recommend this for young people who want to leave their hair down for the week cos it wouldn't impress the security guard or the other guests.

We were looking for a quiet, self-catering apartment for 2 people to base themselves for a week, and Rosamar was perfect.

It came as part if a package deal, so we didn't choose it in preference to any other place in Lanzarote.

The apartments are ideally placed to make use of the shops, restaurants and the beach at Puerto del Carmen. We never used the pool area, which to be honest looked small and a little exposed... not much privacy, but then not much required, as the apartments are located on a quiet street.

The place was spotless; really spick-and-span. Everything in the apartment was in fine working order, no problems with cleanliness, shower was always hot; everything was fine. There's a good supermarket about 2 minutes from the front gate, and you're a leisurely 8 minute walk to the main street. Rosamar has a small business centre / Internet point but I only discovered it on my last day!

We traveled in late April, and the other guests were mainly couples and retirees. I didn't see any kids at all, and I'd imagine kids might be bored in the complex, though there is plenty to do in Puerto del Carmen and beyond.

If you want a low-cost, no-frills, good value base for enjoying the sunshine of Lanzarote, you won't go wrong with Rosamar.

we have just returned from lanzarote.spent one week in the rosamar appartments.i was a bit worried going as i had booked the holiday online and had read some bad reveiws about these appartments .we found to rooms to be very clean on arrival and had no complaints.rooms were cleaned every day except saturday and sheet and towels were changed.pool was lovely.lots of sun loungers.good location ,close to beach ,shops etc.we did not eat there as there was such a choice of places to eat in the resort but the best resturaunts were definetely in the old town.its possible to walk.we always did but its definately worth getting a taxi for the veiws and the nice food.STAY AWAY FROM CAFE LA OLA.all in all we had a great holiday and i would stay in the rosamar appartments again if i went back to lanzarote

Just back from the rosamar,

Went there with my bf for a week was very nice and quiet there is no entertainment but there is plenty just down the roads.
Maid came in every second day to clean and was very friendly. The place was kept well did not see any coachroaches which i was dreading. The food there was nice breakfast was dirt cheap 2 or 3 euros.Eat out mulligans the irish bar just down the road is nice and the food is lovely.Lanies mexican was nice also.Theres lots of places around that are cheap and all very nice so lots to chose from.Shopping all shops have the same stuff but av a look round prices differ in most shops so you mite get the same item cheaper in the next shop. Also big shopping centre up by old town had zara berska etc def worth a trip. There is only one pool in the rosamar so the beach is just a few mins down the road which is nice not many people stayed at the pool so if you just like the pool there are plenty of beds there. Also just down the road is spar so wsa handy when going for bottles of water cause you cant drink there water.Def would recommend this hotel if you just want a quiet relaxing break if you want entertainment def going to the wrong place i would sujest the montana as they were very lively..

Susan xx
