“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

Hotel very clean, room lovely, had 3 beds ( 1 for our 6 year old) but still enough room, room on ground floor overlooking the pool was a lovely spot & large patio lovely to sit out. Food ok all inclusive, ate out a couple of nights, staff always pleased to help, entertainment ok.

Have just returned from a short break here again. As always the hotel and staff were superb. They all make you feel very welcome and will try and help if needed. The pool area was far better this time as the hotel have put out extra chairs which are higher and easier to get off. When we left the hotel it was totally full but as it has space did not feel crowded, just a very good atmosphere of happy holiday makers .
Keep up the good work and we look forward to returning soon.

Room Tip: Rooms with or without sun depending on which side you stay.

This hotel is perfect for anyone wanting a relaxed and quiet hotel with excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. We went all inclusive and this was certainly worth doing, the lunches especially are fantastic with lots of choice. The hotel is just across from the beach and about a 5 minute taxi ride into town if you want a bit more nightlife. You can get free wifi which extends out to the pool area too.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view higher floor

Had a wonderful holiday at La Geria we stayed for 8 days in Oct From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome by the reception staff, (not so in a lot of Spanish Hotels) all the staff were very helpful and nice, we were a family group with a toddler, We had asked for 2 rooms near each other and that is what we got, The rooms were spacious and kept spotless clean, the aircon kept the rooms wonderfully cool when needed,The hotel is in a wonderful position, just across the road from a lovely beach, also no problem getting sun beds by the pool, the hotel had a strict policy of not reserving them by putting your towel on before 9am and going away , We were allinclusive and we found the food was excellent, plenty of variety for every meal, we were able to keep one of the rooms for an extra few hours as our flight was later in the evening, which was very handy for putting the baby down for a nap as it was going to be a long day! We will definitely be going back to La Geria

Room Tip: Depending when you want the sun shining on your balcony

This is a lovely hotel. What impressed me most was the cleanliness. Although we did have a cockroach in our bathroom one night, but we reported it and they said they would spray the room. The staff are all lovely and as helpful as they can be with the language barrier,( but then most of us lazy britts could make more of an effort to speak some of their language). The food was great and a really good selection to suite all tastes. They do cater predominantly for their German guests when it comes to the entertainment, Having said that they do try to translate into English but it can be a bit broken and garbled at times, although the reception staff are fluent. The huge beach is just a walk across the road or there are sunbeds round the pool but you have to get down early to get one that has not had a towel put on them. There weren't many children there but those that were, were very well behaved, other than one family who let their girls run around everywhere shouting, especially when they were in the pool and guess what they were English. We had a couple of wet days, and the only reason I have only given a four for this hotel is that the only channel on the television in English was 'World News'. We just felt that we would relax for the afternoon after doing all the tours and wait for the day to brighten up but even programmes like NCIS and House were dubbed over in German. Where if you went to some of the restaurants outside you could find programmes in English. With 'Sky' this should be possible. Also we found that because we were 'all inclusive' sometimes the drinks seemed drowned in Ice or the mixer.
We had some family come to spend an evening with us and reserved a table in the restaurant. the staff were great and even scattered little flower buds on it to make it look extra special. Loved our two weeks and will definitely go back.

We stayed here for 10 nights in October, bed & breakfast. Nice, clean hotel. Staff friendly, especially reception & housekeeping. Found the bedroom to be a bit on the small side. Breakfast was good but often ran out of things like cups & cutlery. Staff always very busy trying to keep up! There are several restaurants and supermarkets nearby but the main resort of PDC is a long walk away. Ok if you've got a car or get the bus. Pocillos is the bay where this hotel is actually situated. And what a beautiful bay it is! HUGE beach. Really lovely. We got the bus into Playa Blanca one day. Took about 35/40 minutes and cost €2.70 each. Bargain! Didn't think much of the hotel entertainment but it was ok. Very close to airport. We paid for a private taxi beforehand. Cost about £14 for 2 each way. Think it's a bit cheaper if you just get a taxi at the airport but I prefer to book these sort of things in advance! We love Lanzarote & hope to return in the future. I would stay at a different hotel, only because I like to try different places/resorts. Recommended.

Very nice hotel with lovely pool area even though it is across the road from beach. Rooms nice and cool with own balcony and lovely views. Food was excellent. Good choice for fussy eaters but restaurant can be quiet busy and staff seemed to be rushed off their feet. Loved the location. Long stretches of beach or you can walk along promenade right up to old town. The hotel was spotless inside and outside and staff were very helpful.
