Paid £25 a night towards the end of January and didn't have one complaint. Only issue is the hill down to the Marina but it's fine and only 5 mins walk. Or a 3 euro taxi. Great apt, great views. Only issue was I was sick of BBC News or CNBC as only English channels and the wifi in the rooms was a bit hit and miss. Neither a major issue though.

I loved the Izaro Club, nice apartments but best of all Wifi in apartments a great bonus,
yes they are at the top of a hill but to be honest the hill is not that bad and if you can't face
the walk up a taxi is 3euro. Lovely pool area and no traffic noise in complex.

We have just returned from the fabulous Izaro Club in Puerto Del Carmen,Lanzarote. All the reviews I had read really did satisfy my expectations of the hotel, which is situated in the old town ,about ten minutes walk from the beautiful harbour and port.
The hotel is a very well designed building, with beautiful green and white apartments,it was great to have the kitchen facilities too.The beds were comfrtable,I only wished for a more firmer pillow, but that is a minor detail! The rooms were very clean as was the pool area, the man there was meticulous at maintaining the pool area.We had super yellow padded cushions to lie on and there was never a problem to find a sun bed. There was also a pool bar, which we ate at one day, just a burger and chips, but very good and only 4.50 euros. Also beyond the pool bar there were 2 more sun terraces.
We stayed with the half board option because we were on a budget,The food was great, especially breakfast,i think I had serrano ham everyday!A great choice of fruit, bread, and all the usual cooked breakfast items,The chef would even fry you an omlette if you wanted!
the evening choice was also good, with much variety,I had fish a few nights,it was delcious. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and I got to practise my spanish.
We did go to the bar for the quiz one night, happy hour was buy 1 get 1 free! The lady on the animation team was lovely, you could even do archery if you wanted to.Gareth our rep was great too, very helpful.the location of this hotel is a good 20 minutes walk down hill the main strip of puerto del carmen, but we didnt mind at all,we enjoyed the walk past all the shops and bars,We came here 13 years ago and it has changed alot, lots of irish bars if you want to have some fun,we certainley did in the Blarney Stone!Overall this is a fantastic hotel, its great to stay in the old town, the harbour is lovely,we ate there on Monday evening ,it was superb at La Lonja.
Finally ,the staff at reception were excellent,so helpful. We would really love to go back next year!

Room Tip: We had an apartment right by the pool,it was great!

We had an excellent few days' stay in early February 2014. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and facilities at the complex given the very reasonable cost. The complex is very well kept and clean and the staff super friendly. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We have just returned from a weeks stay here and thoroughly enjoyed.
We had one of the 2 bed apartments and it was fabulous one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in!
The kitchen is immaculate for all your cooking and all the utilities are brand new and spotlessly clean!
The rooms aren't really cleaned much, over the course of the week the maid was in every day but are beds were only made up twice and the floor sweeped once when we requested it.
She normally just comes in gives the bathroom a quick clean leaves towels and empties the bins (empties bins twice daily).
The hotel itself is really beautiful and clean although as its self catering there isn't much atmosphere around it in the evening as everyone tends to go out.
As for the big hill, we booked this trip for my granny's 70th Birthday and she was able to walk up it every day a couple of times no problem, there is a slightly steeper hill to the right which she did struggle with but was able to do it slowly and if not we got a taxi for 3 euro.
The old town is defiantly the place to eat in!
Reception are all lovely and extremely helpful, we had fruit and champagne in our rooms on arrival from my granny's birthday.
