We have just arrived back yeaterday from cinco and we had a really lovely time . yes we had a few cockroches but we are near the coasr of africa. the apartments where cleaned every secongd day and pool areas where spotless. James the entertainer was just fantastic with kids and adults alike always had time to sit and chat and always great even with the teenagers who he got included. THE bar closed every night at 12 i no this is a family complex but they put you outside with your drink there are only 4 tables and right outside somebody eleses apartment which seems unfair if you had been in one of theses. We had a 2 bed up at the back pool highly recomend it the mani pool was very noisey . great location only a small hill down to beach . I would return as there was great holiday spirit in the complexi we really enjoyed it . the complex is very popular with teenagers after finishing exams so i dont think i would got around that time again as they could be very noisey . Spinekers next door is briill for lunchtime drinks 150 for a cold beer lovely.the entertainment for kids was very good and its not 2 bad for adults as well so cheers cinco had a great family holiday.

we arrived in cinco plazas on the 22nd of june and were fairly impressed. the rooms were clean and adaquate for us. There were 5of us staying in a 2bed apt which was fine but at night time it was extremely hot and all we had was a damaged fan to keep us cool. My three year old daughter had to have the fan next to her obviously and that meant the rest of us had 6 sleepless nights. We enquired at reception for another fan and were told they would look into it (rang three times) but they never did. On the second last day the rep told us you could rent a fan for 15e per week, which we were never told when we enquired about it. The food in the restaurant wasn't the best, got a chicken wrap and chicken was all brown and crispy (similar to duck but hard) and the burger was pink and uncooked. Entertainment wasnt great in the hotel at night time, but wasnt terrible either. reps were very friendly and nice people. Ants in beds and cockroaches in rooms. not nice. Cleaners were fantastic though i have to say, shop was handy with reasonable prices. Lovely pool and lounge area, although if you wanted a place on a lounger you would have to have a towel on it since the night before!!
the island itself was beautiful, very friendly people, would return to the island, but not to cinco plazas

Maybe my wife and I are spoilt by going on long haul holidays and staying in mostly 4 star hotels, but never again!
We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was clean and adequate although the beds were back-breakingly hard! The concerns we had were the drunken fights at 4am by three young ladies in the apt above us inbetween bouts of vomiting which could be heard by surrounding apts!
Also the roughness of some young parents with small children 1 of which threatened to throw her 4yr old in the deep end of the pool! 5 mins later she did! Luckily he had arm bands on!
There seemed no consideration given to other holiday makers who didnt have children or wanted 24 hour drinking!
The Thomson reps were suited to 18-30 market themselves and were consantly hung-over!
The staff including the entertainment boys were very good and friendly. The food we had inhouse was very good.
Location was ok with bars and restaurants nearby.
Overall its hardly surprising the Brits abroad have a bit of a reputation on this evidence. We normally have 3 or 4 holidays abroad so its not that we havnt been around. Maybe age is a factor being in our mid 40s!!
Lucky for me the rough holidaymakers wont be able to read this!!!

me and my family arraived there on the 21st of may and we found it a great place 2 stay james and harry the entertainers were the best people in the world they took us out and we made friends with them the food is great and the rooms are kept tidy we are goin back shortely
