“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

Have eaten here many times in recent years and have never been disappointed.
In Feb. had lunch and dinner here and had scrumptious meals on both occasions.

“Fabulous Fish, and a Marvellous View!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2011

Went here for a meal last week whilst staying in Puerto del Carmen. We'd chanced upon it during the day when we were exploring and had called in for a drink, and were impressed by the menu.

We turned up without a reservation, and were seated in a large open area looking over the harbour, which was well covered in case of a shower. We were served by Laura who was lovely, and very knowledgeable about the menu and the local fish. My partner asked if the fish was responsibly sourced, and she said it was, and that her husband had caught the fish himself earlier that day!

The five of us loved the food. The chilli prawns are really spicy! The fish platter was stunning, and really well cooked. If you're a fish lover, please give this place a try, it was fantastic!

“Pleasant Experience in a Prime Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2011

This is a lovely retaurant just off Calle Teide. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the location is beautiful. From the terrace you can look down right into the Old Town harbour. We had tapas there for lunch costing €4 per plate and were delicious. Before we finished our holiday we went back for dinner one evening and again it was delicious with the same good service. The restaurant is lively and busy so it can be difficult at times to get a table for dinner but its worth waiting. Will definitely go back.

“Dreadful waiter”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2011

This restaurant was recommended by the people whose apartment we were renting so we went along looking forward to some lovely fresh fish. All i can say is the waiter that served us seriously needs to look for another career! He was surly, rude and never bothered to tell us any of the specials - it was only after we heard a waitress describe the options that we realised that there was so much more on offer!

The food when it did arrive was disappointing, i'd ordered the fish skewer and when it arrived was a skewer with three chunks of tuna - probably the only fish i'm not fond of - and 2 prawns. The salad was a garnish and canarian potatoes like day old, re-heated and dosed in salt.

We complained to the nice waitress and asked why we weren't advised of the starters, she said she'd talk to the waiter but didn't bother and came back to offer us free coffees - total insult we felt. The night was ruined by the food and attitude so save your euros and choose somewhere else or maybe a night when grumpy is off!
