“Great little restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

Found this restaurant by chance and I'm really glad we did. Situated just off the main strip on the beach front it seems a million miles away from the bars on the main road. The food was great and the service was superb. the menu choice was also pretty good catering for all tastes and the view was fantastic looking over the beach to the other islands. Highly recommended.

“Right by the sea.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Have had Lunch at this pleasant Restaurant by the sea.
To get there you have to descend some sixty steps but it is worth it.
Spanish cuisine good service and reasonably priced.
Worth it just for the view.

“Not worth the hassle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

We climbed the numerous stairs down to the restaurant (carrying a pram) and seated ourselves. We asked for a cup of hot water to heat a bottle for our baby which took as long as it took the waitress to ask for our order three times ! I asked for a little time in which to feed the baby which was finally respected. After we ordered the camembert and prawns in chilli oil followed by king prawns and squid. My main didn't come with the sides I ordered but nobody came back to check on us once we had the food. I did mention it to the waitress when the bill was presented and she told me to wait ! When she came back she told me that they forgot ! OK. Thanks!

“Beautiful food in a beautiful setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

We found this place through trip advisor but the map is incorrect. Terraza Player is found at the bottom of a set of beautiful black and white stone set steps just past the casino at the top end of the strip heading towards Los Pocillos/Matagorda. I spent a long time looking for this gorgeous restaurant (hence the directions) but it was well worth it. First visit for lunch I had garlic prawns and garlic bread with tomato and cheese - it was absolutely delicious so we immediately booked a table for the following evening. Again I couldn't resist the prawns but we also tried the mixed paella, melt in the middle chocolate pudding with ice cream and cream, washed down with champagne sangria - could not fault any of it. If you want to try somewhere a little different away from the normal strip hustle and bustle, you can't go far wrong at the Terraza

“what a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

very friendly, extensive menu, great views but down a steep set of steps on the beach side, very busy so you have to wait for a table at times and the food was very good
