We were not sure what to expect of this restaurant. It was a sort of bistro/bar with a big tv for watching sport. There was a nice log fire which gave it a good atmosphere, nothing fancy, basic wood tables and chairs but the menu was quite extensive. The food portions were enormous and I could only manage to eat about 2/3 of my fillet steak, which was cooked perfectly, but the feral cat back at the hotel was very grateful and polished it off in a flash. The apple strudel is also excellent and is apparently the most popular dessert on the menu. For people staying in the vicinity this restaurant is worth a visit, it's also situated in a quant little shopping centre with few boutique type shops.
