Along the highway beyopnd the CDG airport, there's an exclave of motels and steak houses geared for truck drivers. This is where F1 is located, together with other hotels in the Accor chain.
As you can expect, most other guest are low-budget charter tourists on stop-over, Polish plumbers, truck drivers or roadtripping French youngsters.
I was surprised that there is staff (one night porter) present 24h at the hotel. He was very helpful when I arrived late at night. Not used to this from other Accor no-frills outlets.
Breakfast is 3.70 EUR extra, but worth paying for - certainly cheaper than anything at the airport.
The toilets and shower cabins (in the corridor) were funny. Kind of molded in plastic all-in-one piece, like out of a 1960's sci-fi movie.
Beware that the public transport to this area is limited to non-existant at night. I pick up two Russian girls at the RER station who couldn't even get a taxi to reach here.Personally, I wouldn't consider staying here unless I had my own car, or someone else to pay for my taxi to the airport. I believe that other motels in the area might have a shuttle service, maybe it's possible to leech on one of them?
