“Mixed feelings”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

The rooms look a little outdated and are rather small. Main problem is that you cannot control the air conditioning on a per room basis (only heating was allowed, no cooling) so I ended up in a room with a temperature of 25 degrees. Furthermore the rooms are quite noisy. There are way too few parking spots to accommodate all guests.

Now the good: very friendly person and quite nice breakfast.

Overall the € 125 I had to pay per night was way too much money for this value.

At 50€ for your own independent room it's a good value for money, but you have to book online in advance. The staff was really friendly, we had a nice chat during which the clerk made recommendations about where to eat and what to do in the area. The room is just big enough, simple and clean. It has a kettle to make tea or coffee in the morning or herbal tea at night.
They let us put our bicycles in the meeting room even though there was a sale the next day.

We drove 14 hours straight to paris upon arrival we were welcomed by the manager who happened to be outside wearing his unpecable suit and smile.

We were given a choice of rooms and got a ground floor one.

The room was very nice and clean but pretty small and minimalistic, it had a big bed an a older flatscreen tv (with french chanels only) and a bathroom with a tub.

The room came with some smaller compliments such as a water boiler, tea and coffee powders, a couple of mints and a thousand year old re used coupon for a free drink in the hotel bar.

Room service was just as impecable as the managers smile and outfit and neatly cleaned our rooms and re stocked our compliments every day around 10 in the morning.

The hotel has its own resturant mostly used by locals and recidents. It is pretty average and nothing spectacular but the hotel is located pretty far from everything so it was nice to have a place to sit and enjoy some white wine and have a bite to eat.

Although the hotel is far from the centrum it is located a 15 minutte walk from the subway station going directly to the heart of paris and disneyland.

All in all a clean, simple, minimalistic place with a cheap price tag and good service.

My elderly mother and I stayed one night here and one night at the Campanile across the Seine in St Germain, while visiting relatives. They were both excellent for our needs - simple, straightforward, very friendly and helpful staff, easy parking. In both, I asked for adjoining rooms and this was organised. This one shows its age a little bit more than the St Germain one and was slightly noisier, though that may have been a matter of who was staying. The fire alarm went off at 6.30am which I suspect may have been someone smoking rather than any fault of the hotel's. Other members of my family have stayed here while visiting cousins who are just down the road in Le Pecq and everyone rates it for the same reasons. Breakfast was nice and ample too. Not a place for character, as you'd expect, and I'm afraid that the lovely street name - Chant des oiseaux - is a bit optimistic.
