We stayed for two nights and were really pleased with the hotel. It is an older hotel located down Salter Path away from the hustle and bustle of Atlantic Beach. It was located right below the Aquarium which was one of the main attractions of our trip and right down the road from the putt putt place. If you are looking for a luxury hotel stay this place isn't for you. The overall hotel was clean but slightly musty smelling, but the beds were comfortable, pool & hot tub clean, and the overall atmosphere was family friendly. Bathrooms are small and the mini fridge is too, but it served the purpose. I read the other reviews about bad customer service but we didn't have any issues and our rates never changed from what was quoted. The view was beautiful and the cabana umbrella service was nice, $15 for the first day w/ two chairs. The restaurant was good for a quick bite when we didn't feel like driving into town (about 8 mins.) and they have daily breakfast and lunch specials. On the patio, they sell hot dogs for $1 for a quick bite. They had a dj in the hotel bar Sat. night too. The rates for this hotel were a lot cheaper than other comparable hotels in the area. I would definitely go back.
