i've been to jambo house for 2 weeks, we were 2 adults and 2 kids and kindly the owner has given us one of the apartment in his big house .the apt is composed by a double small room and a big living room with23 single beds and a living kitchen.
positive: the apt is spacious and clean, has a terrace with a table were you can eat what you cook in the kitchen, the house is near to the beach, but ask form the tide and when we have been there the first week was full of algae.
negative: the apt is really basic, no cabin,no hanger, no dark tent to have some kind of shadow at the sunset so the kids were having the sun on their face and pillow at 6am....but the owner promised me he would do something...
the breakfast is basic as the rest, bread butter an a couple of marmelade, to have fruit you have to ask every morning, so to have a fried eggs or some bread with tomatoes...some guests where keeping their own food to have more choose...
they organize good meal for the evening dinner, but they ask 15 euro for person..for us 4 was really too much.
our apartment, near to the owner terrace, was not having any sea wiew,or air conditioned(even if you don't need it, ...if you don't have any curtain the breeze will flow in ), no wifi unless you ask to have a small router that cover at least 5 meeters...and you have always to ask for it. during evening dinners you can listen at italian guests chatting at high voices till midnight, or the nearby discoteque(in december till 6am), but this of course is not the owner fault.
the(italian) neighbour shouting and telling really bad words (but if you are not italian you won't understand them ;-)
jambo house is a nice place for italian people, that like to meet other italian people. for me, paying 100 euro for night for that kind of apt in a place where one working day is payed 3 euro is a little bit too much. but, like all the tripadvisor review, is only a personal opinion. :-)
