“Not too bad of a stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

It's out of the city, but close by the Metro. Could be in the city center in about 30 minutes. When I stayed there, they were only open for a couple of weeks so I would give them some time to get their legs underneath them. The room was super clean and nice. Martin at the front desk was a gem, super helpful and friendly.

The apartment was very good. it was fully furnished with wired internet connection in the room and wireless connection in the reception area. It was neat and clean. Its located very near to Bobigny-Pablo Picasso metro station. its just 10 minutes walk from here... the persons in the reception are very helpful. they explained to me on all about the apartment when i checked in.

Room Tip: Its not too costly. the rooms are very nice..its a new apartment

The bad reviews for this hotel are completely over the top! Yes, it's a fair way out of central Paris but we did our research before booking and decided to pay less and deal with the travel. The hotel is brand new in an area of regeneration. Lots of new offices, apartments etc. Not the nicest area but so what? On average about 30 minutes on the Metro into Paris. 5 minute walk to the station. The hotel is very clean, comfy beds, small kitchenette is handy if you're staying a while. The check in process was quick and efficient. There is no sign that this is a hotel though but again, we had checked Google maps and knew how to find it. I would happily stay here again if I was after a good, clean and cheap place to stay in Paris. Don't let the bad reviws put you off. They're massively exaggerated!!

Any cooperation between staff. We payed by cash at checking and during check out, even we told them we payed, they took again money from credit card. It took them a week to finally give us our money back
Location is also bad, around 30 minutes by metro from centrum. During the night we didnt feel save in that area. It takes a lot of time at the beginning to find this place. Any signs on the street or even on the main building
Rooms smelt from painting,in the bathroom, threre was dirty floor from painting, so we had to wear shoes there, and in the room there is a carpet, so we always took off the shoes before we went there. Any remote control, any wifi as they promised
If I went to Paris again, I would definitely find a better accomodation there!

On arrival they hotel had no booking for us, but i am a travel agent and i booked it myself and reconfirmed it a number of times - however they still told me i was 'lucky' as they had 2 rooms for us. More like they were lucky!

We were given twin rooms but promised this would be fixed the following day and made up as doubles. After 4 days and 3 complaints this was NEVER done.

Room 1 : No towels, no batteries in the Tv remote and a shattered glass fridge shelf all in the room. As the Tv would not operate without the remote i requested batteries on the first night - it took 3 days and 3 subsequent visits and an argument with reception to have it fixed.

Towels, initially we were told that the towels are in all rooms and we HAVE them. Even though we definitely didn't, and they had no spares, it took a bit of an argument but managed to get them to hand over 2 towels but no bath mat which usually wouldn't bother me but the leaking from the shower cubicle that put the bathroom 1cm under water after each shower was a little dangerous - but regardless, no bathmat would ever be seen!

To be honest, this hotel will be 'ok' at best when completed, but in my opinion, even though i knew it was new and was expecting there to be a few imperfections - it was far worse than i could imagine! The service in the hotel is absolutely appalling and if you are the sort of person that requires at least a minimum a 2 - star service, then AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I have attached some pictures to show you just how bad it was...

Also on check out it was very interesting to see how many people were in reception complaining about something or another from rooms only being cleaned once a week! Charging cleaning fees if you don't empty your rubbish bags before checking out etc etc etc - but the icing on the cake was the 4 police officers on site for what seemed like a break in.

This is not much good to say about this place. You cannot find it using GPS. They send you emails saying reception closes at 7 and you need a code to get in that will be texted to you. We were arriving late and never received a code so we made an expensive call to find out reception is 24 hrs. I booked this place because of the laundry and wifi. There is no laundry and wifi is only available in the lobby. The place smells like paint and is very very noisy because the water pipes are next to the bed and there is construction everywhere. Breakfast was way overpriced for what we got. But the WORST PART is that the car park in not secure and our car along with 6 others were broken into and we have to file a police report. The only redeeming quality to this place is their response. An employee went with us to the police station to translate for us and was very helpful and another vacuumed out the glass from the car and covered the window for us. If out whole experience had been so helpful it would have been nice. Other then that fact that its in a shady party of town....

P.s. It's a 45 min metro ride to Paris...Take the 5 to Bastille and then the 1 to get to the Louvre.

Room Tip: Don't park your car here!!!!

We waited 3 hours in reception to get our 3 rooms sorted out (we had booked in advance) and when we did we could not lock 2 of our rooms and the other one we couldn't get into.
The staff were unhelpful and disinterested.
The hotel is not finished, decorators were still painting, some fittings were missing, there was only Wi-Fi in the reception area, no laundry room, no remote controls for the TV's, the lift was not working on one of the days, and the car park was not secure.

On the plus side the beds were comfortable and the kitchenettes well equipped apart from no kettles. The rooms are clean because it has just opened.

There is a building site immediately adjoining the hotel making it noisy.
