“Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

Extremely calm and peaceful temple...No rush and smooth darshan....The idol of shri ganesh is stunning....Only cons is the road which cuts from highway to mandir is not that good and it cuts down your car speed.

“Titwala : Siddhivinayak Mahaganapati Mandir.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

Located at 120kms from Nashik , in the district of Thane in Maharashtra is this very historical temple named as Siddhivinayak Mahaganapati Mandir. The actual idol is known to have been consecrated by sage Kanva, worshiped by devi Shakuntala & it is believed that Bharatha was conceived here. The present Diety has been restored by the peshwas. The temple is still a good darshan sthal. It is housed in a wada like structure reminiscent of the peshwa houses, with an upper floor landing which fulfills your need to spend longer time in darshan of the lord unobtrusively. The deity has a quiet demeanor. The ambiance of the temple is relaxed & so are the pundits & temple staff . The Hawkers outside the premise are not intimidating. The lake alongside has recreational facilities.
While driving from Nashik follow the NH3 Eastern Expressway , you cross, Vasind, Kasane , Udupi Krishna hotel, & on the Khadavalli phata/crossing take left. A drive of 8kms brings one to "Siddhivinayak Mahaganapati Temple."
A truly spiritual place worth visiting.

“Titwala Ganesh Temple - a nice place for worship”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

I visit this temple once in six months. Its ideally located at an hours drive from Mumbai and the atmosphere within the temple is pretty relaxing. This place though quite old is less exploited by money minded people.

“A Famous Lord Ganesh Temple”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Situated in suburbs of Mumbai, Temple is famous for elephant headed God. Temple is built in typical Maharashtrian Style. You can find the temple always crowded and on special days you have crowds pouring in from 4.00 in morning onwards.

have a small lake sort of thing near the temple, where one can go for boating,
