The setting is lovely (almost a small medievel ballroom) and every morsel of food is pure magic. The foie gras was simply stunning, as was every course right through dessert and the clever and captivating collection of petit-fours that accompanied dessert.
If you speak English, be sure to ask for Nicolas to be your waiter. He speaks wonderful English, and is absolutely charming in every way.
Truly one of the best restaurants in France -- it easily surpasses most of the best restaurants in Paris, without question -- and one of the finest in the world. Go and enjoy -- and be prepared for it to keep drawing you back again and again.
