Spent four nights here after a trip to Florence and it was pretty much exactly what we hoped for - it is a small and stylishly decorated boutique sort of hotel in a quiet spot away from the main road along the beachfront.
Our room and bathroom reflect the rest of hotel - modern, smart and spotless. We had one of the smaller rooms but it was big enough for a few days.
The pool area is a beautifully designed suntrap and we did spend quite a bit of time there, being unaware of any tie-in with any of the beachfront clubs. Perhaps we should have asked if there is one but there are quite a few stretches of spiaggia libera along the front anyway and we spent half a day at one of those (which was perfectly ok). There wasn't a poolside service as such either, which would be a good extra touch, but the free use of bikes certainly was appreciated and we used them to explore down towards Forti dei Marmi.
Breakfast was pretty good rather than excellent - we got the impression that you had to be there quite early to get anything hot (eggs or coffee). Plenty of fresh fruit and pastries, though. We had dinner in the restaurant on one night and it was very good, but there are so many places along the beachfront (and within 5-10 mins walk) that we went out the rest of the time.
On a final note, the staff were all really friendly and helpful in every respect, and really made a difference to making our stay an enjoyable one.
