“First world is another World :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

Its quite another world and a unique experience to roam around the first and second floor with thrilling rides combined restaurants, movie halls, live band eating outlets...apart from staying inside the room the real hotel lies in their 2 floors from the ground....Its like a night market and all about spending time over there.
about rooms its small but goo enough..
space is less but its okay for a pleasant sleep
bathrooms are very clean, small and having very good water supply.
often choose a room open to the valleys behind the hotel..

just think about enjoying near casinos and eating outlets than thinking about hotel facilities..

Room Tip: Often look the back side rooms...

Booked weeks in advance through Asia Rooms, paid weeks in advance. Less than twelve hours of ariving they emailed to say the booking had been cancelled as the booking hadn't been confirmed. I had written to them one week earlier asking for confirmation plus the fact I had already paid led me to believe I had accommadation! Not to mention they still have the complete payment!
Had I not read my emails I would have arrived in Genting with no where to stay!

Stayed for a night with a friend. Booked thru a travel agency. The use of automated check-in kiosks saved a lot of time. The staff assisted us in the process as we were not familiar on that. The check-in was done around 12.30 pm. The deluxe room was clean albeit small. The bathroom and toilet were also small. Disappointed that the room was facing the other guest rooms, hence no nice view to look forward to. First visit to Casino there and was jammed packed. Food and shopping were expensive everywhere. Nevertheless, it was a budget stay on low season.

Room Tip: Request to have a room facing the valley view

After reading reviews from Tripadvisor, we decided to get the superior deluxe room. The size was ok but a very basic 3 star hotel. The superior deluxe room includes the buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast was adequate with a vast variaty however one will not pay for if it is not included. Note that the standard rooms do not include the buffet breakfast.

No upgrade is allowed and if you want to upgdrade your room upon check in, you will be charged a walk in rate for the room. Do book online and avoid walk ins as you may save alot if you use the online booking system.

Need not say much about it's location as all hotes at Genting Highlands (at the peak) are located next to each other. The first world hotel has the indoor theme park as well as many restaurants and shops

Room Tip: Get the superior delux room or the world club room.

I went there in June thus it was e sch holiday season. The checking in was barbaric as there were too many visitors, the place looked more like a market than a hotel.
However, room was clean. I don't mind the small size but there was a loud churning sound like e air con or something and it was very disturbing as i could not sleep. Called e reception and they helped me changed room.

I find e room clean and comfy.

Very great theme park which last late at night, but be prepared to wait at least an hour in e queue.

Will come back again..

can't believe these days Internet is not availabe in a big hotel like this? no Internet today is equivalent to "no pen no paper in the 70's", and that means, no communication to the outside world. Internet is very important today and should be provided in every hotel on earth free of charge. other than this, the building and nearly facilities are a bit run-down, not as nice as you see in the advertisment. we stayed in a standard room and it is small and cheap. two plastic cups are provided for water. toilet is tiny. we come to Kuala Lumpur for the first time and quite disappoint overall. Bangkok is far superior to KL in terms of service and price and quality. in Bangkok, people give you smile, in Kuala Lumpur, people give you ugly look.

Forunately, my friend won nearly 2000 RM at Genting casino. but he told me that he still prefer bangkok over KL and won't visit KL in the future.

what do you espect when you pay low price for big hotel in the most famous tourism place? i've stay here for 5 days & 4 nights. yes the service are not so good, the room quite small, even the bathroom are very tight.. but the location on the top of the shopping mall and very near to the theme park & night life make me wanna stay here more..

im very satisfied and sure will come again here..

Room Tip: don't singing or making noise when u take shower.. people walk outside ur room can here u..
