“A simple food court”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

Having had too much restaurant food during our stay, we went to check out the food court and ordered from the Chinese and Thai stalls. We ordered some noodle dishes and had the kangkong and Tom yum soup, which is just average. But it's from the food court, so don't expect fantastic food.

“A cheaper meal alternative to the various restaurants”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Compared with other restaurants such as Hainan Kitchen and Hou Mei, meals here are around 30% to 50% cheaper. Foods are the normal hawkers' fare. .Like everywhere in Genting, foods are just average.

“A windowless foodcourt on top a spectacular mountain”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Only in Malaysia would they build a huge foodcourt on top of a huge mountain with cool mountain air and not put in one window. You sit in a cramped, dirty, tired concrete bunker and in reality you could be in a basement shopping centre. It defies logic, good taste and economics not to have this food court with spectacular large windows to take in the view looking over the entire city of KL and the mountain range. Still, customers eat here as the only alternative are expensive restaurants or junk food stands.
The food varieties in this Food Court are lacklustre, the usual slops but with an expensive price.
The service is slow too. All the staff are not put to best practise. They all stand around the counters with queues of people waiting. One staff serves and the others stare and look aimless. My tip is to take a lunch from home and sit outside on a park bench to take in the cool air and views.

“'2 star' food court”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

This food court looks quite worn down, dull, nothing extraordinary but nonetheless quite packed during meal hours (Caution: beware of the low hanging TV to the right near the entrance). Quite a number of stalls there including one selling vegetarian cuisine. It's expensive though but expected it. The strange thing is that the only stall there selling beverages don't sell hot drinks, only cold one...ironic!!
