Let me start by saying we stayed out of the peak period. Not sure whether that was the reason that some things were lacking, I'm concerned that the place would be worse when there was more people to cater for. For a hotel that isn't that old it looks like its at least 20 yrs old. Old looking rooms and bathrooms. Massive bedrooms though with mostly great views, not sure what the grassed area is in front of the beach but its well ugly. Food was very very average, buffet style was lacking in choice and menu meals weren't that much better. Ordered breakfast as room service, cold eggs, no knife and fork. Staff were very friendly to guests, couldn't ask for more but were happy to argue with each other in front of guests (funny to watch at times). Pools were great and so was the beach, just gorgeous, couldn't ask for more. It was a massive pain that the ATM in the lobby didn't take Visa and also that you couldn't get WIFI in the room without a Egyptian Visa, well you could but only at an hr a time. Ashraf is a great barman, ask him where he is from. Its sexy :-)
