Stayed here for a night whilst 'oop norf' for work , I flew into Leeds/Bradford Airport from Southampton and wanted a place that was short taxi ride away , this fitted my requirements perfectly , ride time was just 10 minutes and cost was £10 .
The room was good , nicely decorated with a modern en-suite , all was very clean and a quiet nights sleep is achievable after 11.00pm when the bar downstairs turns out , there are only 4 rooms in total , I would recommend Nos 3&4 because thay are to the rear of the building , so no traffic noise from the street at the front .
The food is good , a superior level of pub grub , not quite gastro but getting there , I recommend the 'Pie of the day' which was Gammon & Leek when I stayed , this isn't a tiny little individual pie , but rather is made as a large pie about 250mm dia. and you get a generous wedge with veg or chips as desired . I can definitely say that this was the best Pie I have tasted in a long time.
If you like ale there are 5 to choose from , the Timmy Taylor was particularly good , they also have german wheat beer on tap and several bottles belgian beers in the chiller.
This is a great place to eat , drink and stay and I shall certainly return.
