Overall - it was a great hotel with many activities to do for the most reasonable price in the area. I was very pleased with my stay as a first time all-inclusive guest.
Pros - I doubt you will find a better water park any where in Jamaica. The lazy river is very peaceful and fun. They have two water slides which are decently fast. The hotel staff, especially the waiters at the restaurants, were extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were average, but clean. I'm not a big golfer, but our hotel room overlooked the Hilton golf course right next door which looked amazing. The food was well beyond my expectations for an all inclusive hotel. Breakfast offers an omelette station, eggs, meats, pastries and cereal. For lunch you can either go to the buffet, one of the outside restaurants, or grab a hot dog, hamburger, or Jamaican beef patty from the grill (I had a patty every day I was there :-) I was very impressed with the dinner selection from the 3 main dinner restaurants. Don't get me wrong, it was not like eating at Ruth Chris's steakhouse or anything, but they meals all were very good and had unique flavors. Every dinner would have at least cost $80 (for 2 people) if we were to get the meals at a real restaurant - so I thought it was nice to have it included in our stay. My girlfriend and I utilized the wind surfing with help of a guide almost every day which was fun. Every night they had a band or event around 8 or 9 which was always entertaining. Needless to say with the amount of drinks and food my girlfriend and I had paired with the flight costs - I'm not sure how the Hilton even made money with us there! We took 3 excursions while there which we booked at the hotel - Dolphins Cove, Dunns River Falls, and the Catamaran snorkeling/Margaritaville tour. All which I would highly recommend.
Cons - Sometimes on crowded days you may not get a tube for the lazy river quickly. There is no top shelf liquor at any of the bars to even purchase as an extra cost. If you want some there are small bottles 4 times their normal value at the gift shop, and only a few of them. Best bet is to have the taxi stop on the way from the airport to the hotel if you like better drinks. The beach has very choppy water - so if you are going to this hotel based on utilizing the non motorized water sports you may want to reconsider. Out of the 6 days I was there, kayaking was only allowed for 1 morning. Also - it down-pour one day and the ocean stayed semi cloudy for the remainder of the trip.
Cons of an all-inclusive in general - Well, even though I drank my fair share while I was there, the "well" drinks started to get gross after a while. My girlfriend and I consider ourselves adventurers and foodies, but being contained on an all-inclusive resort really doesn't allow that experience. However, in Jamaica, there's really not any "great restaurants" or places to walk to near a city - so I guess it didn't matter.
