We arrived on dec 28th and stayed thru the New Year till the 4th. We are 2 adults with 6 teenagers( yes I know we are nuts) Well this all inclusive stay worked out to be very enjoyable for the whole bunch. The resort is small enough that you feel safe letting the kids roam around and find other teenagers. The pools were clean and the beach was small but nice. The cabanas were only $50 a day which I didn't think was that bad for high season and it was nice to have when that little rain storm came down. The employees were all very friendly and polite. There are 4 different resturants on property. Fresh is buffet no reservations needed. Luna is the Italian one Seaside is near the beach and Three palms is a quick shuttle ride up the hill. I would suggest during busy times to call a week ahead(cause I don't think you can do it earlier) and make dinner reservations because they are not very big and fill up fast. Buffet breakfast at Fresh was nice but was a little to busy for my liking and needed a few other omlette and french toast stations. Also I didn't like that it closed at 10:30 to set up for lunch, teenagers don't get up tha tearly and I think they didn't need all that time to set up. If you want quite night ask for outsides of the building the insides face the courtyard/pool area that usually have music till 11. We would definitely go back it was a very nice hotel.Also spa is unasumming but great massages especially by Geraldine

A glass of something on arrival, clean rooms, WONDERFUL staff, superb food...

The lazy river occupies the children for hours... and the flumes...go bounce on the sea trampoline. We sailed a Hobie cat out...and the staff member showed us Dolphins basking...
The staff are THE NICEST people I've ever had pleasure to be around. The Italian on site is exqusite ..but the piece de resistance is the golf buggy ride to the Plantation restaurant...

Went you have food & service like this - its never bettered.... Our Son is desperate to come back!!

Truly magic from start to finish...!

The Water. (drinking water that is)
All drinks with ice or not. No problem mon! They do give each room two mini water bottles a day. Larger sized bottles of water can be purchased at the gift shop or vending machines.

The Food. I must say that the "Fresh" Buffet was my families favorite. I only ate the Jamaican Food that was offered daily. Escovoitched Fish, oxtail, ackee and salt fish, mutton, bammy, dumplings, steam veggies, festival, jerk chicken and pork! Oh so delicious! My wife informed me that the other food was good too. But who wan eat chiney food when in Jamaica! Ala cart restaurant reservations fill up fast. Get the Jerk Combo Plate at the Beachside Restaurant with extra slaw! The jerk and coleslaw was sooooo delicious! Big Ups to Natasha at Beachside!
Important Reminder: The service of Beef Patties begins at 11 pm at the Fresh Buffet and runs till 2 am nightly. How sweet is that?

The Drinks. All top shelf drinks were all inclusive. I must have drank 4 gallons of Appels 12yrs old and another 4 gallons of V/X. Mr. Walker Black and Mr. Daniels. All were present and accounted for!! Amazing!!

The Rooms. Always clean. The first two night was bad for me. We were in room 284 (right next to service stairwell # 2) Did not sleep! Hotel Front Desk, with the assistance of PRESTON the Bellman, made all my problems disappear! We were immediately relocated to the west wing and put in Rm 227. A/C was super quiet, no service stairwell door opening and closing all night long. AHHHHH!! PEACEFUL SLEEP! Pillow top beds were so comfy. Best I have ever slept on while on vacation!! In the beginning of the trip, there was a hot water issue in the afternoon. But not in room 227!! Hot water at all hours! The best!!

The Beach. Nice! Little rocky but nice. Water. Salty and slightly cloudy. Beaches were cleaned in the am, daily. Beware,, west beach is adults only. We learned about that from a hotel patron who couldn't stand to see my daughter playing quietly on the sand. Nice Corn Rows Buddy!!

The Pools Hot Tubs and Waterslides. The pools and hot tubs were open 24 hours a day. WOW. Waterpark opened at 10 am and closed at 6pm. So much fun. My daughter (4 year old) loved it!

Big Ups to our Beach and Poolside Waiter / Trainee: ADRIAN CAMERON. You did a fantastic job. Rob, keep your eye on this young man! He represented Rose Hall with professionalism and extreme courtesy. Hi, to Denny, Melvin and Richard (at Fresh) from Bruce Lee!

Nightly Entertainment. We watched every night show. My daughter danced in front of the stage at every opportunity. So much fun.

The resort has a tour desk. So if you want, book a trip to Negril's 7 Mile Beach. We did. It was fun.

Hotel Safety: with Security Officers WALKER and WILSON on duty you need not worry!

Just returned home , from Jamaica ,stayed at the Hilton Rose, from December 29th to January 6th 2013, what can I say , fantastic ,super great, people that complain about this hotel or staff is out of there minds !!! The staff made some great new friends , Marlene, Copal, Casey,Spencer, will miss all of you, cant wait until next year Neil & Heather Chamberlain& family.....
