“Just get up witness its night View.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

Tried the restaurant.

Service So So..seeing on the pricing isn't really match to the service you would have. Do not expect something very courtesy restaurant service you could have. Just order eat and leave.

Surrounded atmosphere was great, above 800 meter sea level certainly it let you feel chilling and cold wind, remember to bring extra cloth if you were plan to have garden dining. Bring along mosquitoes repellent.

Food were ok, but a little bit of too salty. I order a grill rib eye, and my girlfriend had a grill salmon.

The night view was very great. But the most unlike part i do not like, the restaurant is like in an open plan. Great garden theme and paying for the premium price i am expecting something more privacy and not noisy atmophere. Very sad that there a lot of visitor who are not patronise the restaurant are actually walking in to the garden taking photo. You have experience like you are in Hawker centre, when you are eating your food and a lot people are walking around your table just to take photo and they are not restaurant guest. Annoying.

“Good view”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

There are two parts to this restaurant - the Sky Terrace and the original restaurant. The Sky Terrace only serves drinks and has the better view out over Penang.
As we were hungry, we opted for the restaurant and were disappointed by the food and the pricing. My husband and I were given different menus which had different pricing for the same dishes as well as listing different items. Basic dishes (eg fish & chips) were in excess of 50RM and the most affordable items on the menu (the soups) were 20RM.
The mushroom soup was, however, lovely but the pre-packages fries were a let down. My husbands chicken dish (Inam chicken) was lovely, but there was a discrepancy between the listed price on the menu and the final bill.
If you're on a budget, then avoid this place. Maybe consider having a drink (12RM for coffee/tea) on the Sky terrace.

“Beautiful relaxing spot and great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

This restaurant, atop of Penang Hill offers a wonderful lush garden and peaceful, outdoor setting. It is a great way to have lunch enjoying the view and moderate climate on Penang Hill and while a little pricey, it is well worth it, with good food and excellent service. A great way to have a relaxing lunch. Recommend the salmon.

“Lovely location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

A great spot to relax after walking around Penang Hill. Pleasant gardens and olde world charm. Food was good and we enjoyed our meal. Better than the nearby cafe if you want a relaxing sit down lunch and drink. Don't expect fine dining but a good lunch spot.
