“excellent honeymoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

We spent our honeymoon between 18-21st February in this hotel and everything was perfect. I had prejudice when I had read the previous negative e-mails before booking but I took the risk although those unpleasant comments and now I do not regret but completely satisfied with not only hotel facilities but also the staff was very kind and friendly. Here I totally recommend the hotel to those who think to spent the holiday in. Meanwhile I would like to mention about the meals. They were so gorgeous that we ate uncontrolled much and we had stomach upset due to eating too much.

Thank you very much

awful hotel dirty , unfriendly . belongings stolen , I can not say a good word about this place or hotel , one day my bed was changed and there were blood strains on the clean sheets .
They kept running out of beer , not bad for an all inclusive hotel .
I wanted to leave after 2 days . it was the worst experience of my life and I will never return to this area or hotel , maybe never go again to Turkey .
Bad bad bad , please do not go to this hotel

Room Tip: do not stay at this hotel

The hotel is really worthy! it looks like a castle and it is a bit ambitious and sometimes all its gold looks fake but kids like it so much, they were like in a fairy tale! I highly recommend it to families with children. A lot of swimming pools, nice plage, good food. The only disappointment was the location : you can not see it from the hotel holder pictures, but it is the second line from the sea, you need to go 800 m and cross the road to get to the beach

This place was AWFUL.
No air conditioning in the hallways, (about 38C) air turns off and room becomes over 38C when you leave (keycard needed to keep electricity on). They claim to have wifi in the rooms but it's only in certain hallways OUTSIDE the rooms. All the negative comments in this forum are accurate.
In addition:
1. Took one hour for them to have a room ready for us (although it was 9pm).
2. The room did not have two separate beds, which we explicitly requested.
3. They didn't give us an appropriate room until the next evening, and we had to complain several times.
4. The new room sink and shower drain didn't drain properly and would back up- daily complaints never fixed this.
5. One day our room was never cleaned. Another day toilet paper wasn't placed and upon asking, they said "we ran out" (are you kidding me?!).
6. Another day they did not replace our towels, which were used and on the floor.
7. Several requests to change the sheets were not met.
8. On the final day we again went to the management to complain and state how this has been a HORRIBLE experience. After letting them know I will write a terrible review, the response was "that is fine, I don't care about reviews, I will still have customers". There are much more negative things to say, I just don't have the energy right now.
Nothing positive to say.

I arrived with high hopes for a great vacation. They were quickly dashed. The hotel builders had a nice enough idea of a grand place in which to frolic, however, the implementation left much to be desired. Our room was equipped with two cots, aside from the main bed, which we did not ask for, and this is what they considered to be a two bed room! the ventilation in the hotel is entirely inadequate. The property is not very well maintained and there are many simply empty lots around the hotel which double as 'even areas'. The beach is very rocky, which is apparently the case in the area, and cordoned off from other restaurants. People actually pull their beach chairs all the way to the water when it gets crowded, and it does. The pool was the best part. It is very large, but it is little solace when you return to a rather unmaintained room.

It is almost understandable given the kind of people i saw in the hotel during my stay. The rush to the dining area as soon as the doors opened was a stampede, everyone was rude and the staff seemed simply to be responding to them. At the very least learn how to say please and thank you in Turkish if you are going to visit.

The small town nearby has not much to offer except cheap strip shows and tourist traps for souvenirs.

The best part of the trip was the excursions to the different ruins and events in the area.

Will I return to Turkey? undoubtedly, will I return to this hotel? NEVER!
