This is the only 4 star hotel that I have said I would not return to.
The main reason for this is I got no sleep our matress in room 628 was so hard. We complained to hotel and they said they would put a topper on it, this turned out to be a quilted type mattress cover and did not make a difference. We complained again and they added a couple of blankets.
This did not work either.
I expect some people prefer hard mattresses, My mattress at home is memory foam so am not used to very hard.In the hundreds of hotels we have stayed in I have not complained about hard mattresses.
The food quality in our opinion was poor for 4 star, never had steak or roast beef in the 11 days we were there, there was plenty of pork and chicken and also liver if you like it. Twice when we ate the feta cheese it was sour ( all other times was ok)
Staff were friendly.
Waitresses in resturaunts wore black jeans which I found rather strange for a four star hotel.
Pool area was very nice with plenty of sunbeds always available. The lagoon pool does not open until 9.30 though and closes at six.
Rooms were clean , we had a family sea view room with a bed and 2 single type beds seperated by sliding doors. However there were no chairs to sit on in room.
Resturaunt on the surface looked clean, but look a little deeper like the floor edges near windows and it was not so clean . Sometimes at lunch time there were still rings from breakfast cups on dining table ( only table cloths at dinner) The hotel only uses paper napkins even at dinner.
I realise that this is going to get some comment from the hotel manager, I wish it would have got some comment whilst we were there, particularly as we filled in a hotel questionairre a few days after being there and complained twice.
I in fairness realise that a lot of people rate this hotel as very good but it is not for us. We have been to other Louis hotels that were 4 star and much better.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for having decided to spend your holidays at the Louis Corcyra Beach and for posting a review on this website.
It gives us joy hearing that you found our staff friendly and that you appreciated the outstanding cleanliness in your room. Nevertheless, we regret hearing that we were not able to fully meet your expectations, due to the fact that you were not content at all with our mattresses as well as with the food quality in our restaurant. We must admit that we have so far not received many remarks concerning uncomfortable beds and were thus surprised to hear your comment. We will look into this issue even further and apply changes wherever needed (the idea of providing thicker mattress pads upon request is a possibility). As for our cuisine, we were also shocked to hear this, as we normally receive many praises from others who are very pleased with the variety, taste and in particular the high quality of our food. Our weekly menu has beef several times a week but the fact that you missed them means our signage needs to improve. Finally, please allow us to politely disagree with you regarding our hotel's star rating. As you can see from this website, our hotel has been awarded for excellence and has an average rating of 4.5/5, meaning that the vast majority of our guests do in fact agree that we offer 4 star services. Unfortunately in your case, we were not able to achieve the same results and for this we would like to apologize one more time.
We hope that the happenings will not prevent you from pleasing one of our beautiful Louis Hotels, either in Greece or also in Cyprus, with a return visit. We wish you could give us another chance to prove to you how relaxing and memorable your holiday at one of our hotels can be!
