“Convenient and Comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2011

This hotel is ideally situated close to the exhibition centre in Brexillet, which is why I chose to book again for the second year. The staff are pleaseant and welcoming and speak good English when my level of French did not reach the standard I required.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice decor. Only down side is they are a little bit dark and there is no full length mirror.
Maybe some English or music channels on the television would be nice, but then why spend too much time in your room when there are places to explore.
Last year we ate in the hotel's restaurant and the food was superb, but unfortunately this time it was not possible as the restaurant is closed over the weekend with a limited menu for room service. As an alternative, try Le Koadenn in St Briuec on Rue st Guillaume - excellent, but L'Eskemm's cuisine is excellent quality.
The value of the roms is good for the area and about standard.
Self service breakfast was fresh, however, the choice was limited, with no cold meats or cheeses, which one would expect in a continental hotel.
That said, I would not hesitate to stay at L'Eskemm again.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2010

on arrival at 16-45 on sunday there was no one at the hotel to check me in so I waited in car park for one and a half hours while some one came. But dont be put off, it as a challenge when i phoned the number on the door and spoke to someone who turned out to be the owner ( I Think). the hotel is much like any budget chain the rooms are not the biggest you will ever stay in. BUT this is a great place to stay. Having walked to the town today and i can say that i did not like it that much alough the building were nice i did feel comfortable walking around. The hotel on the other hand is great ideally positioned on a major route it is easy to visit the many attraction of the area.I have now eaten twice at this hotel and a continenal breakfast wil always be the same the meals in the evening are worth a note. I like good food served by people who know what they are doing and from my experience at this hotel they sure do. The meals to date have been great, tonight the best mussels I have eaten in ages. all in all this has been a great experience. If you are in the area then stay here.
