“Mamma's cooking.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

I have been to The Granada many times over the past 13 years .The cooking is always excellent. The food is what Mamma makes because it is a family Taverna and mum does all the cooking. The brother waiters are great fun to be with and add to the experience.I visit this taverna even when I do not stay in Argassi.

“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

We really enjoyed their offer of Greek specialties. Also service was perfect, stuff was friendly but not too pushy, like in other places.

“The best in Argassi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Tried most of the restaurants on the strip in my week here - this was by far the best. This is a traditional Greek taverna, with great food and service. The prices are incredible for the standard of food on offer. I had lamb kleftiko, and it was one of the best I've tasted (I've never been served it on fire before either - fab). The wine was nice, and I managed to sit in the corner of the taverna, where you can look out to sea with Kefalonia in the distance.....very special! My one regret is that we only found this traditional taverna on our last night......had we come across it sooner, we would have frequented more often - highly recommended!

“Traditional Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Granada is located slightly beyond the centre of Argassi - on the main road as you travel through the resort towards the Vasilikos pensinsula. There's a wide range of Greek food served in a traditional taverna environment. Specials change daily - a good sign of "home" cooking. Prices are reasonable, service attentive and there's a good, albeit quiet, atmosphere. As the menu is typically Greek, there's an excellent range of vegetarian options.

This isn't the busiest spot in the resort but that's probably got more to do with it's slightly more remote location than the standard of its food. Worth at least one meal during your holiday here. I'd certainly eat here again.
