We have just returned from 2 weeks at the costa mar apartments and i have to say that we would highly recommend a holiday here. The 2 bed apartment that we had was spacious and clean the maids cleaned the rooms every day and bought in clean towles. All the staff without exception were most helpful and friendly, it made for a real family atmosphere. The apartment overlooked a magnificent view of the sea. The grounds were beautifully laid out with stunning vibrant plants. The pool area was gorgeous, surrounded by palm trees it made a lovely relaxing setting. There's a pool bar where you can buy food as well as drinks we often had lunch there. You can hire hairdryers, irons...whatever you need really. There's also a self service laundry onsite and acess to the internet if you need it. The beds were really comortable i havent slept so well in ages! They are in the process of replacing the mattresses while we were there altho there didnt seem anything wrong with the original ones. There's a well stocked supermarket onsite plus a few gift shops and restaurants. I'd like to thank those of you who came to see us off even if it did make going home that much harder. Thanks to Eddie Rachael & Paul for making our stay so memorable we met some really lovely people on our stay there it was just a brilliant holiday I highly recommend it!

Just returned from hols at Costa Mar in Lanzarote, had a 2 bedroomed apartment which was great,very clean,maids in each day (have to stop the maids coming in sometimes as can come to clean really early in the morning) ,massive balcony overlooking the sea,highly recommend. The entertainment was good,edo and rakel do a great job of entertaining the children,and organise lots of things around the pool each day,games for the kids and adults. The hotel is situated in the quieter part of puerto del carmen which was great only 10 mins from airport,about 8 euros in taxi,and it is about a 15 min walk into the busier town centre,the old town with its harbour is a must see. trips out can be booked through your rep which are value for money,especially the texas rancho park in the daytime for the children(5 mins away). There are some great places to eat especially the Britannia pub, right opposite hotel,which serves a wide range of food, and the staff there are really nice, and always make you feel welcome,also next door the slainte irish bar which has great karaoke. Overall real value for money, and definately recommend to family and friends.

We have just returned from our hoildays and had a fantastic time at these appartments. The room we had was very big and clean and had a huge balcony overlooking the pool.The entertainers were brilliant Kate,Rachel and Eddie were great with the children and adults and kept everyone amused with the activeties.The evening entertainment shows by the pool were also very good and we all enjoyed them .The food in the hotel was great with so much choice and catered for every nationality.The pool area is a bit small but we had no trouble in getting a sunbed.We would recommend these appartments especially to families with children .
The resort of Playa De Los Pocillos is a quiet area of Puerto Del Carmen with a nice big beach which is clean and safe ther are lots of bars and resturants the Mucky Duck was our favourite.We all had a great hoilday and would love to go back.

Just giving a review on our apartments and the whole experience of Lanzarote, My husband , son ( 6) and I went for the first two weeks of July, we couldnt fault the weather although a bit windy but this breeze provided to be very useful and made lying in the sun more tolerable. Our apartments, proved to be quite basic although roomy quite clean and the cleaning services were every day ! towels changed every day which would'nt normally happen and sheets changed three times during our stay which was quite good, the apt had kettle , toaster, oven, hob, fridge all the essentials and the staff were more than polite. The hotel bar wasnt too exciting but i have to give credit where its due the hotel entertainers were brilliant, Amanda, Eddie etc were the day entertainment and involved in organising night also. Nothing proved to be to difficult for them they were great with the kids and were very genuine about this and had alot of games by the pool area for adults if they wanted to join in like Archery , Darts, loads. Lanzarote in general was very quiet and i didnt get to do much shopping but for a relaxing holiday it was great. Good Nights out were the Texas Rancho Night, And The South Tour (camel rides, volcanos etc) great family Trips although in gereral didnt find it to be a great place for teenagers young kids really.
