“better the second time around......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

YES!!! MY second foodtrip to Dipolog solely to try out more of the irresistible, tasty foods served by Tonino's...... this time i tried the "melt in your mouth" Wagyu steak, the perfectly cooked sea-bass, flavorful seafood pasta, the crispy, juicy Singaporean chicken, seafood green monggo soup, & i never miss to order my fave roti canai....& so much more...... and i kept going back for more of their desserts........two of the must try... are their coconut panna cotta w/ mango gelee and the warmed flourless choco cake ala mode w/ candied pecan......it's better to try them yourselves to know what i'm talking about.

“Finest Dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

Their Porcini Pasta is one of the best mushroom pasta I've had. I'd also recommend their truffle pasta - very flavorful and they're very generous with the truffles. Their truffle pasta is even better than most well-known Italian restaurants' in Metro Manila. Their servings are pretty big, can serve 2 people. The ciabatta was a bit dense and hard - but I didn't have room in my tummy for it anyway. We also had the Roti - it was a bit on the crispy side but I still liked it. The lechon kawali was perfect - crispy skin, juicy meat. But the star of the night was the dessert, oh my. Their desserts were heavenly! The flour-less chocolate cake ala mode with pecans is to die for!! All-in-all, 5-stars for their great food.

“Should be included in a Foodie's must eat list”

A gem in Dipolog City.... where else can you find a resto that has a little bit of everything you crave for.....

Grilled Nebraskan Ribeye that melts in your mouth [order it with a side of peppercorn gravy]

Crunchy on the outside, juicy scallops with Caviar

Pastas that are al dente and hard to pick which one is my favorite... Aglio Olio con pepperoncino, Squid with black ink or the linguine with mushroom

Also the Bulalo, Sizzling Sisig, Fried Chicken, Siomai, Roti Canai are a must to satisfy your comfort food cravings

I wont even tell you how Good the Desserts are.... just order them without blinking ;)

special mention... don't forget to order the very aromatic Garlic Rice

ps.... Coffee is also highly recommended

“Excellent food, best value for money!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Tonino's has a wide range of Asian and Continental food - all delicious and good quality yet very reasonably priced!

Upon our arrival at D' hotel, my husband & I had a late lunch at Toninos - we had chicken in stone pot, gyoza and gambas al ajillo. All were delicious, only problem is the tendency to eat more rice with the chicken and gambas.

For dinner, we had scallops with caviar as appetizers, and salad. For main course, I had the Chilean sea bass on a bed of pototoes with truffle oil, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked
My hubby had grilled Nebraskan rib-eye with mushroom sauce, paired with St. Andrews
Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia. The wine cellar a wide selection of wines.

And for dessert, I had to try the knickerbocker (ice cream), as I observed that most of the diners
ordered it.

The food is five star quality at surprisingly reasonable prices!

toninos wine cellar wc has  very good selection and mention taylor wine of australia being yr favorite hehehe
