“Great holiday, great weather and lovely hotel. Nice area close to all amenities”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Read a few reviews about Aguamar and would just like to say that some people must expect 5 star facilities for 3 star prices. Stayed here for 1 week on a self catering basis and i can honestly say i was extremely satisfied. Nice location only 10 mins walk to all local bars, restaurants, cafe's and anything else that you could ask for. Friendly staff and nice and clean apartments. If you don't want to venture out there are several good bars just at the back of the hotel (English based) that meet all your need whether it's for drinks, food, entertainment or snack you will be well catered and looked after. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice relaxing break and only 5 Euro to center of La's Americas shopping and attractions. Weather fantastic and would definitely visit again

Room Tip: for a little more quietness from the local bars at the back i would recommend rooms with mountain vi...

Needs a bit of a refurb, but clean, and pool lovely, though cold in November, plenty of sunbeds, close to shops and bars, and 10 min walk to seafront and more bars and shops, down a gentle hill! All staff friendly and helpful. Bit annoyed at having to pay for wifi, and sunbed mattresses, but plenty of bars nearby have free wifi, if you can't keep off Facebook! All in all a lovely chill out in November, and we will go back!

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at these apartments in 3 years.
We requested a ground floor, as my husband is disabled, and they gave us number 9 which was exactly what we wanted.
The staff, from the reception to cleaners and gardeners, are excellent and nothing is too much for them. All the areas are kept spotlessly clean and cannot be faulted. Good TV with more English channels than normal, the pool is really clean but freezing cold! There is no AC so could be very warm in the summer months.
The only negative is That the apartments could be updated a little as they are very basic and becoming somewhat 'tired.' They are certainly value for money but I would be prepared to pay more if they were modernised. There are a lot of good bars close by and it is only 15 mins to the town. I would recommend Zizzi bar and Angus steakhouse plus the new Shorthorn restaurant. A well stocked large supermarket is nearby.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor which is handy for the pool - number 13 or 14 gets the sun in the morning in No...

coming from where? we decided to call to the reception, and a lady came, just to be sure it was a mouse, yes there it was, now in the bathroom, after that we moved to another room downstairs, I went crazy, tryed to talk to the manager of the hotel, but no compensation they promised first, nothing! This was the worst hotel ever! Treait their guests without respect, WITHOUT GUESTS THEY WILL NOT SURVIVE! This Hotel is not worth the money, and it will destroy your holiday!

This was our third visit. Stayed first week in December, The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean along with the rest of the hotel. If you go self catering the kitchen has everything you need. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Beds were firm but comfortable enough. There is a steady 10 minute stroll to the centre and beach. Walk in any direction and you will find bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. We would highly recommend R&B's on the beach front especially if you like home cooked english food and a cocktail or two!!! We would definitely use hotel again and happily recommend to family and friends

Room Tip: Rooms facing pool tend to be quieter but generally speaking noise not bad at all which ever room

Requested a quiet room as we were traveling with a baby. Got a room right next to the lift, stairs, and cleaners store room, overlooking to an irish bar, with live music EVERY night! Deliveries arriving at 3AM right under our window, so we couldn't get a noisier room. When asked for an other room, we were told, that the have people coming back every year, so the are giving them the room the are usually staying. So basically we got 3-4 hrs of sleep every night.
If you don't mind getting a few hrs of sleep, 15 mind walk to the beach, and somer small, termites like ants swarming in your room, this is a place for you. If you want to relax, and unwind, avoid at any cost!

Room Tip: Ground floor, balcony looking at the pool, the door looking at the mini golf.

We stayed for 4 nights in September for a last minute break . family of four - 2 teenagers..

Basic rooms, beds a little hard but nice poolside and plenty of sun loungers..

Olivers with a twist Tenerifes' top rated restaurant is right behind the Auguamar..

For the price we paid it was ideal...
