“Do not stay in the premium salon rooms !”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012 via mobile

Booked a premium salon room which I was told before booking had been refurbished for a two week stay It was not - mould on furniture, light fittings hanging off walls, holes in pillow cases, no lighting on stair wells and worst of all no air con in the bedroom section of the room. Wife was nearly in tears - complained but was told all other rooms fully booked. Cancelled rest of stay and managed to book another hotel (Riu Buena Vista) for rest of stay. Fortunately had booked direct with hotel and they agreed to refund. Also the night receptionist was a great help in translating the Spanish last minute.com website for me to make the alternative booking and recommending other hotels. The Riu had the same 4 star rating on trip advisor but there is no comparison - it was streets ahead for quality, facilities and staff friendliness.

have just returned from 2 weeks stay at paradise park ,we had a mix up about our room on arrival but that was sorted very quickly by reception ,every member of staff was excellent, they were always smiling and nothing was a problem ,food and service in bar and resturant was excellent ,children entertainment all during the day and a show every evening for the adults ,we only left the hotel once in two weeks to go somewhere else but we should have stayed in hotel .would recommand this hotel for a great family holiday ,

went to paradise park with my wife at end of june for 10 days.very impressed by friendliness of staff , all staff including reception , bar staff , cleaner and in the dining room and restaurants.food was excellent at breakfast , lunch and dinner.Always a good variety , and the choice of food freshly cooked in your presence.1 minor gripe re all inclusive , different items were free at 1 bar but you paid at another.Bizarre.Really like the fact also that there were 2 adult only areas.we will definitely go back 1 day

Room Tip: noisier if facing on to street

Just returned from a one week stay in this hotel on half board.

The only few minor issues we found which wasn't too bad was the breakfasts we didn't really like, so we preferred to have a longer lie and get something later on which was fine, as you can get nice cooked breakfasts near by for 3.50 euro... so we didnt mind at all. The other was that if you wanted a sunlounger at the mainpool, you would be struggling if you didnt get your towel down before 9am, all loungers were taken with towels but with no-one on them, very annoying! and I would imagine if i did have kids, I would have found this a huge problems.. but as we were a young couple with no children we didnt mind, as we made use of the adult only area on 8th floor - AMAZING!!! Pool and two jacuzzis, with decking with hundreds of loungers, only for adults, no children, amazing views, and it has his own bar/cafe too - so it was very peaceful and relaxing with no noise.

Dinners at the hotel are fab - we always had a nice dinner, and food was good with alot of variety. We didnt feel the need to eat out, but we did twice just for a change/treat.

We didnt really stay at hotels for entertainment much so cannot comment, but it was mainly focused on kids, there was alot of entertainment put on each night, but we always headed to the pubs nearby and had great nights there. A couple to mention are Bojanles or BAR 39 - you will have a good night in either of them. We certainly did! The restaurants we ate in on our stay whilst we were there were also great, we had a lovely indian meal at Balti Balti, and we had a gorgeous meal at Bianca - which is a lovely italian, very nice inside.
There is a supermarkets very close, and the beach is a short walk away. The hotel has a free bus that takes you to los christanos town centre, so make use of this, takes you to the nice beach and all the shops/resturants etc.

All in all, our had a fab holiday, I would defo go back to this hotel and recommend to anyone I knew who was planning on going to Tenerife, the adult only pools are great, especially if you just want to chill and relax with no kids having fun around you, the staff at hotel are friendly and I really couldn't fault it.

Tip: You must go to Sian Park - its a great waterpark and you will have a ball, but if you go at peak season defo recommend you buy a pass for jumping the queues - might cost you 15 euro, but saves so much time.

Room Tip: We stayed on second floor.

went to paradise park with my boyfriend at the end of june. the hotel is lovely and our room was very nice. was very impressed with the cleaning... it was cleaned every day, with fresh towels too. even the beds were quite comfy! breakfast and dinner were amazing, lovely food and a good choice. wasnt so impressed with the variety at lunch, but then again im a very fussy eater. the swimming pools were clean and gorgeous, loved the adult pool, nice to sunbath in the middle island. didnt use the rooftop as was quite busy, but did look very nice! entertainment was great and varied to everyones taste. didnt need to leave the hotel in the evenings as it was so nice. our room was above the bar but noise seemed to end about half 11 anyway so cant really complain to much. would reccomend paradise park to anyone. best hotel and holiday ever!

Visited PP late June 2012
What a fantastic hotel
I would recommend that people try to go for the all inclusive because there is a good choice of food and drink. We were honestly never stuck for something to eat.
The staff are very friendly and the rooms cleaned daily
Will definitely be going back

Spent two weeks at Paradise Park as solo visitor. Normally with family but have lots of time off work and a flexible partner ! Main tip is book direct with the hotel. Much cheaper than Jet2.
So my review is through the eyes of an adult male.
I recommend the hotel. It will suit all, families, couples and singles. Stayed in a premium junior suite which was perfectly fine. Great shower and i loved the plasma tv overlooking the bed. English channels avilable, Sky News, BBC1 etc. Cleaned daily to a good standard.
Food is fine. Great choice at all meals and loved the freshly cooked meat at lunchtime. Put weight on. Pools i found to be unusual. There is a large family pool which is the centrepeice of the hotel and is what you would expect with kids, lilos and entertainment. There are also two other pools including a small plunge pool on the roof. I couldnt get my head around the fact that the sun beds for these pools were seperate ie near them but not around them. Not seen this before and found it unusual. I spent a lot of time on the roof which is adults only and recommend the jacuzzis up there. Cold food available on a slef service basis in the bar up there with a small charge for hot food (not sure why given this is all inclusive but hey). There is night enetertaiment which i never went to once, tribute bands, magicians etc and a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach. If you exit the hotel turn left and walk two hundered metres there are three karooke tyoe bars, italian restaurant etc. I like a bet and spent a lot of time in Sandys Bar which has a bookie. Saw Chris Kamara in there ! Very freindly staff and a good laugh. Second left from hotel, down the hill. Lotsof ex pats in Los Christianos. Went to Playa Amercias a few nights which is full of decent bars and of course the main party street of Veronicas where i felt very old.
Overall a good hotel - not quite four star in my opinion but a high three.
Positives
Clean
Good food
Rooftop facilities
Freindly staff
Low transfer time
Room big and spacious
Sandys Bar
Lots of English people in resort
Cheap cigarettes

Negatives (minor)
Staff in a hurry to clean your table in restauarants
Food charged for on roof top even for all inclusives
Cleaners sometimes kncoked on doors at 9.10 am
Air con ok, just ok.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the pool.
