The hotel was quite nice. We were one of the only two couples with children (a baby) but I think that has more to do with the time of the year. The hotel was full of elderly people, and super quiet. Although the hotel was quite full, there were plenty of sunbeds available for everyone. The pool area was a bit crowded for that reason, but it is better than not enough sunbeds. Breakfast was good, and dinner was also quite nice for a buffet. They had always fish and meat on the grill and a cheese selection which was very nice. At breakfast, bread was far better than the pastry. As a Spaniard, I would have liked to get the blood sausages (morcilla) at dinner time, but I understand that the menu is more directed to foreigners (they had only another spanish couple and us, the rest were mainly british, and also german, dutch,...).
Also they let as check out a bit later, at 15h, which was quite nice having a baby with us. They said that they could not let us leave later than that because the hotel was full, but this was already enough for us.
Also, the staff was extremely helpful when we asked about excursions. They gave us very good advise.
Location is good. You have to walk like 10 min to the beach, but you are at one end of Los Cristianos close to some hiking paths.
Two things bothered me though. First, they gave us a room in the ground floor, for which we had to climb like 10 steps. There are only like 20 rooms out of 200 that are not accesible with wheels, and they gave us one of those. It was not practical at all with the baby pram. Also the room was close to the bar where they had music every night. It was not very loud or until very late, but we could hear it from the room. We had already unpacked everything when we realise all these inconveniences, so we were lazy to ask for another room. So we do not know if we would have got it changed. However, since we already mentioned that we would be coming with a baby and asked for a baby bed, I think it should have been obvious that the room choice was not perfect for us.
The second thing was that, at dinner, nobody offered us the possibility to prepare baby food for our 10 month old. Two days before leaving one of the waiters mentioned that there was indeed this possibility and that he was going to speak to the cook, but we did not get anything out of it, so in the end we were stuck with the baby jars.
Room Tip: rooms 050-071, on the ground floor, have 10 steps you cannot avoid (not ideal for suitcaises, babyst...
