“Keep the rows in the kitchen!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

Dined here once on our recent visit as we have done a number of times over the years. Food was exceptionally good as was the service. Price of drinks was reasonable; the do serve Faustina (one of the cheaper one in the Faustina range). Only downside was a heated dispute between Scott and the manager over the loss of some customers who, having been seated, decided to leave. I have to say that Scott was more sinned against than sinning. Otherwise a very satisfactory meal.

“Wonderful meals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013 via mobile

Came across this restaurant on a previous visit to Los Christianos and really enjoyed our meals so when we were back in the area on our recent holiday we were pleased to find it was still there and that several of the waiting staff were the same. We ate there on 2 occasions and the food never disappointed.

It is not the cheapest restaurant but we have always found the food to be excellent and good value for money. We would go back again when we are next in the area.

“Food wasn't very nice”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Ate here, food, whilst not entirely inedible, was below acceptable standards. As though it was made by a hungry child.

“Don't follow through on promises made to get you in!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

Myself and two friends had passed this restaurant a few nights on our recent holiday. Looked nice, staff seemed friendly as they try to encourage you to dine with them. They offered free sangria if you came in to dine. We aren't fans of sangria, told that was no problem, we could have a glass of wine instead. So in we went. The food is just about average, nothing fantastic, the house bottle of wine was the most expensive we had paid anywhere during our holiday. As for the free glass of wine, well it didn't come, when we said this to the staff member who agreed to it, he said something to another staff member and disappeared - next thing, three glasses of sangria arrived!!! One of more expensive meals and wine while not one of the nicest we had on our holiday - disappointing that they don't give you what they promised, once they have got you in.

“How to upset the tourist”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Having found the El Burgardo just across the road from our hotel we were initaly delighted. Our first meal was excellent, two mixed grills. The beer cold, wet and on a hot night just what the doctor ordered and reasonable value.
Returning two nights later we ordered food and a 1ltr jug of Sangria. The food was once more excellent, not a great deal at about 15 Euros but value for money. However, DONT order any Sangria, they charge 17.95 euro a ltr, no friut, In short it was the worst and most expencive Sangria we have ever had.
We did not go back, no wonder they dont display the prices of drinks. A place to watch your bill very carefully.
They lost our custom and most of the residents of our hotel for that two weeks.
