“Spoiled rotten”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

I have never been so "spoiled" while staying at a hotel. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and unforgettable as possible. We took advantage of the daily spa treatments, used the facilities, and had a wonderful stay. The food at the restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. All I can say is "ditto" to all the positive comments. I can't wait to go back!

“Calm and classy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We stayed here in the hotel's final week in October. It was obviously not at full occupancy, but was so calm and relaxing. A very boutique feel despite it being quite a large hotel by Mykonos standards.
The decor is clean, white and light with fabulous views over the bay from practically every part of the hotel. Beautiful pool and about 50 metres to the lovely shingle/sand beach. A bus to the town runs regularly and is about a 5 minute walk however youll find it easier to rent a car if you want to see the island, particularly at the time of year we visited as services are limited.
The room had a huge comfortable (firm) bed, tv, free wifi, fridge and very effective ac. The bathroom was kept fully stocked with Korres and another premium Greek brand of toiletries and plenty of towels, in fact I think it was serviced dscreetly around 3 times a day. We had a large balcony which was furnished with two chairs and a table which caught e in all day.
The hotel also gives free access to the thalassotherapy suite which was great but we did not try any other services.
The downside for me was the price of food and drink. I don't mind paying hotel prices usually but 15 euros for a cocktail is just crazy in my view so we did not eat or drink with the exception of breakfast which was extensive, varied and generally excellent. Notos restaurant on the beach offered a far better alternative and the hotel did not seem to mind us bringing in wine purchased at local supermarkets (fabulous assyrtiko from santorini) despite saying otherwise in their brochure.
I would definitely return here again, it's a lovely, sophisticated and stylish boutique-style hotel.

Room Tip: We had a standard room and it was anything but, all rooms are built on mountainside so have great vi...

“Can I borrow the spa?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012 via mobile

You know those things you read about where people spend hours taking oil baths, rejuvenation treatments and water massages from jet powered jacuzzis that put the hoses at your local fire department to shame? Yeah, that's here.
You can also eat at the amazing restaurant or walk across the road to the beach, rent a couple chairs, buy a GIANT Mythos beer at the super market for 1.75 Euros (and a can of Pringles) and have one awesome 10 euro day.
Awesome location, staff and stay.

“A magic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

We have stayed at the hotel on 4 occasions in the last 7 years. Everytime, has been a magical experience from start to finish. You are welcomed in reception on arrival, by warm and friendly staff. Luggage is taken to your room by an extremely helpful "bell boy". Breakfast is an experience in itself: everything from bread to champagne!!! if you can manage a big breakfast, you certainly don't need lunch! The pool area is a perfect place to relax. Pool staff have your every need covered. Often offering cool refreshing drinks or fresh fruit, free of charge. The spa is a beautiful tranquil place to be pampered and revitalised. Every member of staff have always been polite and helpful, whatever time of day or night. Nothing is too much trouble. The Boutique is an added bonus and we always come away with a pair of shoes and at least one handbag!! The beach is a couple of minutes walk away with a selection of bars and restaraunts. We prefer to eat in the hotel, where you have the choice of bar meals or al a carte, the choice is yours. We have always had beautiful rooms with stunning views across the ocean. We have met the manager on many occasions, always asks how we are enjoying our day and if we are happy with everything. What more can you ask from a holiday. Try it, you will love it just like we did. See you in 2013, Sharron & Andy

“Truly Enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

We stayed here in May and really enjoyed our experience. The architecture made us feel like we vacationing in a special place. The view off our balcony was breath taking and the staff was extremely attentive. Room was beautiful and clean. We rented an ATV to be able to explore the island and were very happy with that. The ATVs on Myknonos have very little power, so sometimes going uphill with two people was a bit laughable. The spa is lovely. We do not recommend dining with the hotel though. It's a very fancy and overpriced menu. For example, we ordered the tiger shrimp appetizer....it was literally "a shrimp." The plural of shrimp there is shrimps...so understand that. Also, if you are offered bread, it's an upsell rather than part of the meal. The food was good, but I would recommend going into town and having dinner there.

Room Tip: They all have a beautiful view. Some are a higher walk than others, but if you're travelling the...
