“Beautiful Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

We stayed here for ten days from middle september as a family with kids on age 2.5 and 3.5. We had a wunderfull time. The hotel is beautiful and has a pituresc breakfast/restaurant zone. With the kids we stayed the whole time at the beach, as the pool area of the hotel is a nice quiet place. We enjoyed also the silent place there, when our kids had their sleeptime in the afternoon. Also there are a lot of nice restaurants at the beach side, what has given us a large choice for having dinner in various places. The staff was very very friendly and helpful and so lovely with our kids! Our kids falled in love with all the staff. Breakfast was delicous and the service perfect. There was just one little thing which was not ideal: On the weekend days there was at the late afternoon/evening loudly music at the beach. So when the wind was blowing in direction of the hotel, the pool area was noisy as well. But as everything else was perfect, it didn't disturb our holidays.

We stayed here at the end of September, everything was fantastic, great staff, location and service from the moment you arrive at the airport. A real boutique in the sense of the word, a small friendly hotel, in a fabulous and convenient location. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed here as the first stop on a two island holiday and what a wonderful choice it was. We were met at the airport by the courtesy shuttle bus and shown into the lounge on arrival where chilled glasses of sparkling wine were served to us. We then checked in and were advised we had been upgraded to an Executive Room which was really lovely. Fourposter bed with voile panels, robes and slippers, hospitality tray, mini bar and really lovely toiletries. The view from the room was beautiful and our balcony was very private and sheltered. The hotel is immaculately clean and our room was serviced twice a day.
The buffet breakfast was great with a huge selection of cold dishes and the usual hot choices i.e. eggs, bacon sausage etc. We even squeezed our own oranges each morning for really fresh juice. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. They do great cocktails too, I recommend a Strawberry Daiquiri or Mojito.
Where this hotel really stands out above the rest is in it's staff. Vasiliki, Michaela and Napolean were the friendliest staff we have ever met in any hotel we have stayed in. When we left we felt like we were leaving friends. They were also very efficient and went that extra mile, nothing was too much trouble.
The location is excellent, it is 2 minutes from the beach, 1 minute to the bus stop and 2 minutes to the jetty where you can take a boat trip.
This Island is known as the Party Island at the height of the summer season and this was obvious in the posters advertising beach parties etc but at the beginning of October it was much quieter and the visitors at this time of the year obviously prefer a slower pace of life.
Mykonos is also known as the Windy Island and if visiting in October it would be advisable to take a jacket as the breeze was rather cool in the evening.
We left this hotel to continue our holiday with regret, we felt that the next hotel wouldn't quite match the Nissaki and we were right.
We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first and second floor seem to have the best view.

There are not enough words to describe just how awesome the hotel is! Every member of the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond my expectations. Extremely nice room, breath taking views and beaches, and an outstanding breakfast. Our plane did not leave until 4pm on the afternoon of our checkout, so they arranged a 3pm checkout and shuttle to the airport. Can't wait to come back!

I cannot say enough good things about the Nissaki Hotel. My fiance and I stayed at the beginning of October and from the minute we arrived to the minute we left it was perfect. We literally couldn't fault it and would go as far as to say it's the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The warm welcome, the suite, the views, the pool, the breakfast, the staff (Vasiliki, Michaela, Napo and Apo were all amazing!) and the location were first class. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance but it was easy to get a taxi into Mykonos Town for a change of scenery, not that you'll want a change of scenery! Nissaki is the perfect place to switch off and relax in an idyllic setting and be looked after by attentive, cheerful staff for whom nothing is too much to ask. Every day was perfect and every beach, activity and restaurant the staff recommended were also amazing. Vasiliki organises a jeep for us and we explored the island, but we mainly relaxed at the hotel or one of the nearby beaches. We felt totally chilled out by the end of the perfect holiday!

Everything was first class - the staff, the breakfast, the bedroom - but the one thing I will never forget is our balcony and the view from it. I wish I was still there!! Vasiliki was a delight - she gave us a wonderful welcome and upgraded us to a suite. On the day we arrived she arranged transport from the ferry and then at the end of the holiday to the airport.

It was really easy to go into Mykonos town in the evening as there was a public bus from the door of Nissaki every half an hour.

Can't wait to go back.
