We found Hotel Real Camino Lenca on TripAdvisor. The reviews helped us book our stay here and we were really impressed. The hotel itself is beautiful and the complimentary evening glasses of wine can be taken in your room or on the rooftop, which has a gorgeous breeze and views of Gracias. The owners personally helped us booked trips to La Campa, a canopy tour (ziplining) and a trek up to the tops of Cerro de las Minas (Honduras' highest peak) in Parque Celaque. They even packed us sandwiches and provided woolen blankets for the chilly night on the mountain! We really appreciated the top notch, personal service and the kitchen makes some very tasty meals.

Spent three nights in Hotel Real Camino Lenca. The room was clean, the hotel was safe and well-located and the staff was pleasant, although nobody spoke English. The included breakfasts (which began at 7:30 am...a little late if you need an early start for Celaque Nat'l Park or for heading to your next destination) were nice sized with delicious coffee. Wifi worked fine and no problem with hot water in the shower. Odd that the bathroom with its very modern fixtures didn't really contemplate a place for a hand towel or soap. (BTW, don't bother paying extra for a room with a "tub"...not sure they actually have one.)

The only problem we had was that the hotel was really loud. Our room was across from the restaurant which was never busy but had tv blasting all day. And the courtyard structure meant lots of echoing which wasn't great for noise control -- also that the only windows in the room opened into the courtyard! At night, noise from the bar on the roof came through as well...we actually didn't realize there was a bar on the roof and thought the music, which seemed so close, was from the restaurant!

We definitely had a good time in Gracias and are looking forward to returning one day.

Located just blocks from the Central Park, this hotel offers a great location, unbeatable accomodations, and excellent service. The restaurant is the best in town, offering dishes from all over the world. The stylish rooftop lounge bar offers signature drinks and views of Gracias that can't be beat! The staff are very friendly and attentive to your every need. Art and culture combine to create an upscale atmosphere. It's truly the best of everything Gracias has to offer.

Five of us recently stayed at Hotel Real Camino Lenca in Gracias, Honduras. We rented three rooms for a stay of four nights. The hotel is very nice. The interior construction looks very new, and it is in the traditional Honduran style. Everything is very clean and convenient, and the restaurant serves very good food. All of our rooms had a bathroom with sink, toilet, and large shower, and hot water. Every room had powerful air conditioning. On the roof there is a large patio with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. The power goes out in the town frequently, and they have a generator at the hotel to provide electricity during these periods. The price was reasonable, and the service was very good.
