My wife and I stayed one night in Kampong Cham, and after a tough day around we were looking for a quiet place to dine. Khmer Food Restaurant was nice and inviting, located between Mekong Sunrise and Mekong Crossing, so we decided to give it a try. And we were quite happy with our choice. It seems to be well run, the staff was prompt and attentive to our needs. We had: Khmer deep fried springroll with vegetables (fried corn seed with garlic and coconut milk, salt and pepper, spring onions); Fish amok (khmer amok spice, palm sugar, coconut milk, shrimp paste, mixed with vegetables to steam); Chou kgney (or something like that, stir fried khmer flavour with deep fried ginger, onion, red chili, spring onion, beef)
All meals where well presented and tasty !
Would go back there undoubtedly.
